So he gets caught on video and with the stolen property in his possession, then repeatedly lies to the cops, yet his felony criminal record gets wiped clean after a $1300 fine and 100 hours of community service? Must be nice being Vanilla... :rolleyes2:

His handyman skills have helped wiped his criminal record.

Rapper Vanilla Ice has successfully completed 100 hours of community service as part of a plea deal that stemmed from a February 2015 grand theft charge, according to TMZ.

The rapper, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, agreed last April to perform the community service at a Habitat for Humanity project in Palm Beach County.

He also agreed to pay $1,333 to the estate of a neighbor in Lantana for allegedly stealing furniture and pool equipment from a $1million home.

Now that the terms of the agreement have been met, the charge will be dismissed and he will have no criminal record.

The grand theft charge was a third-degree felony which carried a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Done deal: The rapper, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, has completed his plea deal agreement from April 2015

The items that were taken from the house were returned to their owner
.

The 48-year-old musician-turned-reality-television-star, who famously rapped that 'anything less than the best is a felony' in his 1990s hit song 'Ice Ice Baby,' said at the time of his arrest in February that the situation had been 'overblown'.

Van Winkle all along said the incident was a misunderstanding
. His lawyer said most of the items he was accused of stealing had been left outside the home by squatters who had been vandalizing the unoccupied property.
