JORDAN! Probably the greatest individual talent who also is one of the games all time winners. Had alot of impressive stats but was able to win and dominate his time as the unquestioned leader of his team. Did not see Wilt and Russell play but to me they cancel each other out. I hear Wilt was far more talented than Russell but from what i understand Russell had more substance with less stats. I have heard Oscar Roberstson, Bird, Baylor and Magic but i just believe MJ was better. I give Magic a shot at the crown but the only real person i see with some great individual accolades and team jewels is Kareem.

In relative terms, YES. Cousy revolutionized guard play and was one of the most dominant players ever (even before Russell came along).

Feeble mind? Stop getting emotional. No need to hurl insults; I just asked a question. I've seen the Horry argument and it isn't the reason I asked. I asked because Hakeem played 18 seasons if the stats on Basketball Reference are accurate. For 16 of those years someone was beating "Hakeem's Rockets." He just happened to win two rings while Jordan was retired.

What makes you think those two years would've been different had Jordan not been retired (give reasons to support your argument)? Every team other than that Laker team were strong and Chi beat every single one in six games (LA in 5).

I know Houston owned Chicago in the 2 game season series, as did Seattle, Portland & Utah so miss me with that argument. Jordan wasn't gonna lose in the Finals, period.

As for the greatest NBA player... since they play to win the game, it has to be Mr. Russell and his 11 rings... no contest. he dominated his time like no other basketball player. He'd hang himself if he woke up with Jordan's Rings
