Who is currently the most influential black leader today (minus Obama)?

1-Most likely to have the youth imitate him.
2-Most likely his words will be heard and remembered.

Fuck, you made me spit my pepsi out. fuck :lol::lol:

His politics aside, you can't really depict Thomas or any of the other supremes as leaders. What do they do to lead anything? They sit and hear cases and make judgements, etc.... they don't lead or even attempt to lead people. Not their fault or anything, but it's just not part of the job description. Most people can't even name more than 3 or 4 of them.

I respect this answer. And its true. But they have a lot of power and influence over all of our lives.

I have much respect but his support of Obama at every turn no matter what gets tiring.
Obama has NOT been perfect with regard to the A/A community, but Al won't call him on it.
Personally I'd follow Tavis before Rev. Al.

But you have no problem with Tavis and by proxy Cornel being anti Obama at every turn.

While Obama has not been perfect he has also not been the disaster.

And while you are at it what is the AA community ?

Is it this all black street I live on that backs up on a golf course in the burbs ?

Or is it what is left of the low end ?

See Tavis and Cornel and some of you posters use catch phrases that don't have true meaning . You speak of things like black people are all the same shape, size, color, and live in the same conditions in the same neighborhoods and have the same aspirations.

The reason the talking heads don't define black agenda is because they can't and only use those phrases to rile up the easily led down the path the choose.

The only black "community" is the hood. The only "black agenda" is the hood one. The black middle class is ignored by black activists every bit as much as the white majority. Most shit that benefits the hood either has no affect at all on the black middle class or has a negative affect due to the black middle class being lumped in with the hood.

So I guess my answer has to be this...
