Have you ever just stopped a moment to look at yourself?
I mean truly look at your self and recognize "who you are?".
I challenge you to this exercise:

Who am I?

I am a black woman who overcame obstacles that have been put in my way.
I am hard working professional and entrepreneur that takes care of my family.
I am a visionary who looks for ways to help women who have been abused or victims of domestic violence.
I am a proud mommy who loves children-especially my own;)
I am beautiful inside and out, but I have my flaws and insecurities.
I am hot tempered and quick mouthed.
I regret and feel sorry for people regardless of the hurt they have done to me.
I judge people after one conversation with them, then sometimes I realize I was wrong.

Your turn!

P/S regardless of who you are...If you know who you are-NEVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT!

I am a Black woman who is not perfect but is learning and growing
I’m a sista that thinks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much
I’m a passionate Black woman that will voice my opinion for as long as I have one
I’m a sista that values closeness with others
I'm a Black woman with big dreams and even bigger fears
I’m a simple sista

So do I CT....BTW..Who are you?

I know I am not the only person who knows who they are?

OK, off the top of my head...

I'm a man
A son
A brother
An uncle
A cousin
A God-Father
A friend

I am someone who gives and receives love in many of its different forms, shapes, and sizes. The exchange of love is a beautiful thing and I am glad that I have come to know that as I have this year. From this point on I plan to enjoy it and how, why, and from whom it comes. I hope I can make others feel it too...There are many more things that I'm sure could be said about me, but that's all I've got for now. If more comes to mind, I'll holla...

Who are we? such a powerful question...

I am growing and changing everyday, that makes me who I am..
I am transitional ...

I am perfectly imperfect

I am a person who understands different cultures

I am blind to race, but I see bullshit vividly

I am a secure, over confident, black man

I am conservative with my politics, but not with my lifestyle

I am a destroyer of all stereotypes real, and imagine

My heart can only be seen by few, but my strength can be viewed by all

I am a Texan before everything else

I am a calculating, egotistical, bastard *and enjoys being it*

I am a humble person.

I am a person with a tremendous heart, but somewhat hard on the exterior.

I am a compassionate person.

I am a person that over analyzes things.

I am a person that values those that are good to me.

I am person that has no tolerance for people with ulterior motives.

I am a strong person, but my weak moments make me who I am.

We have similarities:yes:

I am a humble person.

I am a person with a tremendous heart, but somewhat hard on the exterior.

I am a compassionate person.

I am a person that over analyzes things.

I am a person that values those that are good to me.

I am person that has no tolerance for people with ulterior motives.

I am a strong person, but my weak moments make me who I am.

I am the black sheep and the great hope.
I am everything that they hoped I would be but thought I would never become.
I am my mother’s daughter and my father’s baby.
I am a woman, one who does not hide behind degrees or fancy clothes in order to feel “sophisticated”
I am one who loves her man enough to allow him to be one.
I am a black woman that represents her hood, her people, and herself with pride and dignity.
I am a believer in God, miracles, and karma.
I am one who recognizes that there is so much more joy in giving than in receiving.
I am simple and complicated; hard and soft; fearless and afraid.
I am who I am and becoming who I want to be.

I'm not nobody's toy, I'm not nobody's boy
I am someone's man, I am someone's joy
I am the voice, I am the truth
I am the choice, I am the proof.
Like my man from the D
Gon' stand on my feet
I am the branch, from the family tree
A baby to the leaves, carriers of the seeds
To carry on the name, to make a man complete.
De La Soul said I am a beat
I'm not a dream, I'm not a fantasy
Right here in the flesh,
I am out of this world, I am something else
I am something lived, I am something felt.
