Man. I am with Nas on this one. "What is an award"? Black people should just boycott the shit and continue doing what their doing. Why attend something that was never intended for you in the 1st place. We should stop thinking like MLK and feel like we should be able to fit in or be a part of something, and be more Like Malcolm X and build and do our own shit. Cuz it's obvious, when black people do their own shit, and become successful, the good ol' cac, takes over, copy, etc. Look at "In Living Color". After Keenan blew that show up, they put more white people in SMH. Shit wasn't the same after he left.

MLK was a totally different time and era. It was a time when one great man was confident he could appeal to a group of people by way of Christianity and ultimately achieve respect for African-Americans through coexistence.
