How many black people do you think had access to 401ks when you were a kid and the vast majority of black middle class were in roles like government and trades that leaned towards pensions? Many blacks do not believe in the 2 ways that generate wealth....investing and insurance. WE tend to work in jobs that have pensions (a positive) but do not also invest in the 401k or 403b that is also available. I bought Amazon when it dipped to the 90s and I bought Google when Bard was acting up. If there’s one regret, I didn’t buy more.It plummeted in April '22, hit it's bottom at $84 and now is back to $174.45 and continuing up.
