I have a Sony Dual RW Drive;burner, Acomdatd;hd and I have some cooking videos, cartoons/movies, for children, sports documentries and films I would like to upload, I have been trying to use Nero6 and it just doesn't seem to work for me, can anyone help...please!!!?

Upload to where? Do you mean you want to burn them to DVD or do you actually want to upload to the internet?

Not sure GYH what you're trying to do here.

If you wish to upload those files onto the internet, so other can download at their pleasure, you can use either megaupload, z share etc.

If you wish to burn these programs unto a disc, then Nero will do the job quite nicely.

Any problems let us know.

Okay, I have DVD and I want to share with the FAM, so...I am taking the disk putting into my burner and using a program, maybe DVD shrink to create a file, then zip it, upload to megaupload, etc, share the link with others here on SOL...

mac or pc?

On save to, its saying file too large, even after eliminating menu/extras. I have a external HD and there is space, so I figure, I'm doing something wrong...

oh yeah i just remembered another way u can do it but the file will be huge as fuck and then you'll ned to compress it.

put the dvd in ur laptop/computer go to my computer and open the actual folder. u will see the the screen caps of the movie in parts drag it to ur desktop. but like i said the files will be huge and mega upload wont work u will need a compressor program.. u might wanna take this question to the main board i bet theres 101 peeps that an help over there..

One way of achieving your aim GYH is to get a program called 'AnyDVD'.

Once you installed this program, there's a icon of a Red fox in the bottom right corner of your desktop. If you right click on this icon, a series of options comes up, choose the one where it says 'Rip Video DVD to hard disk' and follow the instructions from there.

Once this has been done, you would need another program to compress the files on the hard disk into a smaller one so it would be more convenient for others to download.

Previously I've used a program called 'WinRar' to do so. Very easy to use. Let us know how things are going and see if we can assit.

That's right, save that drama!

Here in Nor Cal, we like the cool as a fan, freestyle, laid back livin', California is known for...

That statement is so true....

I grew up off of Telegraph Ave. and lived on Ward St. in Berkeley...was a little ways up the street from the Corner of Telelgraph and McArthur Blvd (East Oakland) and a little down the ways from Univ. of Berkeley...Lawd, how I miss home!!!
