This was the uncle a lot of these dudes looked up to. Seemed like he had it all together. When he was just great at assimilating. They think assimilation is the game. A lot of Bougoius black society is built on reinforcing these types of legacies. The jack and jills and others aren't necessarily bastions of black exceptionalism they are coon training facilities. They want to define your identity but they do that by making you hate the identity ascribed to your people. But by instilling pride in assimilation through a mirror of self hate is disgusting. You look in the mirror and say yes I'm black but I'm different. So sad.
