When My Son Turn 5

lol...he's a little to young to be learning all that..i know he would be whoppin ass can you imagine if he fights another 5 year old...:smh::smh:

Following boxing training routines is fine. But, I'll be damned if I'd let a child of mine actually get in a ring and box. My daughter has a four year full academic scholarship. If I had a son, I'm sure that he'd be similarly academically gifted. No way would I allow his brain to be scrambled before he can put it to good use.

I'm all for training the kids, but I hope the lifting doesn't stunt the kids growth.

If the kid keeps up this intensity in all things, the discipline this kid will have will definately take him into an Ivy league/ Russell Group college.

Well done to his fam

Its got to be something that your son wants to do if not he wont be any good at it and wont put any effort into it, Wait until he wants to pursue something but if you watch a lot of boxing with him he will want to make you happy and box

Yup...my son is 4 got him a punching bag last year...showed him how to stand and got him doing pushups when i do them..Karate classes already started...going to take him to Gleasons Gym next year or so

so he can't do anything else because he box:rolleyes:

Nope...just saying that the focus would be academic and not athletic.

Instead of placing a basketball or football in my son's hand, Id place a pencil or book.

Teaching him to appreciate and love ^^^^ first and foremost would be a top priority.

Thats all that Im saying.

When my daughter get a older, she's 3 months now, I'm signing her up for anything positive that she shows interest in. I see all these kids running around the streets not doing anything and the parents won't make the effort to get them involved in some activity.

ain't nothing wrong with the physical training, but when my son turns 5, he's going to be advanced MENTALLY; i mean VERY advanced.

i'm gonna make sure he learns a 2nd language as a child-likely spanish or an asian language.

i'm gonna make sure he's comfortable with numbers as well-cause too many kids in this country can't deal with mathematics at all compared to the rest of the world.

and most importantly, i'm gonna make sure he's TRAINED to be a speed reader.

Respect to your opinion, but some parents can't stand the fact their kid would be be smarter than them and become jealous of their own child :smh:

Real talk: Even if they were millionaires they would still neglect their kids interests, a lot of these pussy ass fathers who still hold on to image and ego, fuck up their lil ones mind with what is hood - when these 30, 40, 50 year old men are still being intimidated/bullied by others in their peer group...

Just make sure you embrace your childrens dreams and run with them no matter where they go with it, you're not their friend you are their Father - one of the only two true friends they may have...
