What's your favorite CANCELLED TV Show?

Man, I have been watching TV a long time. I'm 30, and back before cable, or before EVERYBODY had cable, when they used to show re-runs during the day (especially when we were off on summer vacation). Remember Get Smart? Well, they ahve been cancelling TV shows as long as they have had TV. Shit, Star Trek only stayed on 3 years!

My wife got me hipped to this one show Dharma & Greg. This chick is on some "daughter of hippies" type of shit but she is kooky as hell in a really cute kinda way. My wife caught a re-run and told me about it so I checked it out. I saw an episode a couple years back and I liked it but didn't keep up. Anyway, it's cancelled and re-runs are all I got.

What's your favorite and why? Living Single? A Different World? Cheers? Daybreak? Kevin Hill? Whatever. Speak on it. What was your favorite show that got cancelled? Isn't it fucked up when you get onto a show AFTER it got cancelled?

my show was OZ i dont know if it got canned or they just ended it but that show was my shit.also married with children. al budy was the fucking man some fat bitches got that show cancelled.. did yall know that a black dude created that show

hate to admit it,,, but mine is Seinfeld,,, never watched the shit back in the 90's when it was new,,, but now that the reruns come on in the nights and late evenings, i watch it all the time,,,

Cheers- Cliff Claven was the funniest man alive !

Married With Children- I swear Al Bundy acted like my dad

Good Times- I hated to see it go just because of Thelma's Ass and tight jeans.

Three's Company- I wanted Janet bad

Bernie Mac- Kellita Smith, 'Nuff said

So many to choose from:

1) Roc - Charles Dutton was the man!
2) Frank's Place - - This show was too good for TV.
3) Futurama - I'm sick of the damn reruns
4) Batman Beyond - Check out the UNCUT movie if you can find it
5) The Flash - Yea, the live action show, it was the shit!

Manimal, this shit came out in like what...'83? It was a man who could transform into animals. He would turn into a black panther. That shit was cool as hell. I was a kid, really into animals and it got canned. All I saw was like 2 episodes.

Boomtown
Linc's
That show on abc about sportscasters
the ray liotta show that just got cancelled
kidnapped
fastlane

I wouldnt say that it is my favorite. But Im pissed they canceled daybreak I wanna know what happened. If a show goes through a whole season with a finale then I dont think it was necessarily canceled just didnt get renewed.

1) Martin - Gina fucked up everything

2) Wayans Brothers - Loved that show still do

3) Homeboys in Outer Space - I was young, but i still liked it

you cant do that on television

yo and dream on sounds familiar what was that?

Arrested Development - Super smart writing, great balance of dry humor/slapstick. Plus more jokes per minute than any other show I've ever seen.

ROC (props GreedySmurf)...that was a great show...and it lasted longer than I ever would of guessed. Remember when they took that shit live for a season!? Great show. Rocky Carrol was also the man..

Homocide & Thief - Andre Braugher is the best television actor I'm aware of. Thief was the best show on TV last year.

Sonny Spoons - two words: Theme Song.

You mean prematurely cancelled shows or just old shows you found later on?

Freak & Geeks

Bay City Blues (realistic adult drama about a smalltown minor league baseball team from the Hill Street Blues folks)

Under One Roof (rare black family drama)

City of Angels (Steven Bochco's unique black hospital drama)

Millennium.

This show was the pioneer to all the inferior CSI, crime drama type bullshit that's so popular now (dumbed down "copy-cat" versions of Millinneum). This show was way ahead of its time, and the dumbed down American public, (along w/Fox) never gave it a real chance.
