Whats your choice for Best Media Program?

Greetings All,

BGOL has to be better than most review sources so...

Just wondering what Media Program you are running and why you like it...trying to find something that meets all my Media listening and viewing needs, something with a very neat directory, easily updates new media records, finds tags if necessary, etc...thanks.

I use good old Windows Media Player 11. I also installed K-Lite Codec Pack. I can play pretty much any video and audio files that you can think of on Media Player 11.

I fucks with Mediamonkey cuz it accurately finds tags for your music, unlike WMP that fucks up occasionally. Plus Mediamonkey doesn't play videos which comes in handy when you don't want your fam to find your porno collection. For movies, I just use Media Player Classic, it's simple and plays just about everything with the K-Lite Codec installed.

for music I use itunes, with any other media VLC is the only way to go

...yeah...wmp is just convenient...i also use vlc for the tricky avi or files that give me codec problems....

Windows Media Center for videos - remote controls for the pc tend to work best with WMC

Winamp for music - ease of use and sound quality trumps all other players

Thanks for the feedback I do have the WMP 11 with the K-Lite Codec Package...just havent found anything with as manageable a directory as Real Player (dont know why I am stuck on their directory format (drop down artist, drop down album folders))

I guess no one is still messing with River Media Center, dont really care for the VLC players I have come across.
