Man, if there is bait, black people swallowed it Hook Line & Sinker. Religion and it's control over black people is humorous if not sad. I can't say that shit on Facebook or Twitter because-insert Joker fron Dark Knight- people start losing their minds, butt posts like this just show the ignorance of people... My people

If you believe some mythical being is going to give you something just by praying and or wishing for it or about it without you having to give any effort whatsoever you're fucking crazy.. This I don't believe in God or a higher power, which I do. But I don't believe that praying about it will fix it and you don't have to do anything but sit and wait.

You going to churches or Black People's homes and see pictures of white jesus and it's like looking at a fish on the line and smiling... literally the fish is smiling. I can't get with the whole sheep Behavior which is ever popular in the black church.

Black people have been praying since the Bible was forced on us back into slavery and prayer don't solve got damn thing without action. However, the Bible teaches people that prayer and passivity work

its common sense. When you are being oppressed for centuries, and the entire world system is rigged so you can fail so their machine can keep going, you start to believe in a better life than the one you have now. Encouraged by outsiders to continue under their system while they profit. You can even put the Bible aside because 99% of world Christianity has nothing to do with the book, especially with their customs and hierarchy within the religion. The poor use religion to save them, the rich to comfort them.

Man @godofwine leave them people alone with their religions, if people stopped believing the suicide rate and crazy crime rates would rise up like crazy.
As long as they are not forcing me into their belief system we cool!

The biggest mistake I made in my life was telling my mother that I an atheist, now I got the whole family trying to preach to me, well tried lol, I read the bible 6 times already since I was a kid so frankly they can't do much on that angle so they only can use personal miracle stories and it's getting annoying.

The Biggest Problem With Us And Religion Is That We Are Not Praying to and Following OUR Gods Because They Have Been Stolen and Hidden From Us and Then They Forced This Bullshit Turn the Other Cheek One Upon Us Because They Know Our Gods Would Have Us Eradicate Them On Sight For Their Fuckery :furious:

I'm not religious, but I believe prayer is a form of meditation when used correctly. A large percentage of christians are lazy and believe Jesus is going to do everything for them. You know what they like to say, "I'll just put it in the hands of Jesus". Prayer along with discipline and hard work can change your future.

its not so much spirituality as it is the crackers mans find fuckery

prayer is just thought and focused thought is one of the keys to manefesting what you want.

the mind fuckery comes in when these cacs got folks praying to some little faggy cac dude they named jesus...

not thought focused on what they want to manifest but their thougths focused on a white male..

and organized religion would be fine if it bought folks together instead of dividing them....

I'm not religious, but I don't trip on people who are. I incorporate certain aspects of the Bible and the Quran into my life. Its good to have a moral code & a set of values to live by, but I don't buy into fairytales.

I won't act as if religion is totally bad for us like fast food and sugar is.It serves it's purpose when it is needed and it's not usually the religion it's the people that follow it that are the problem and a church is just a church, like the bible is the bible man doesn't need either to survive,we are born with that instinctually; But what I think we do need is faith that there is something greater than ones self when things just doesn't seem to add up in our simple minds and simple ways.Which is totally different things.
Man has done terrible things in the name of religion and ask their god's for forgiveness at the same time,it will always be that necessary evil and how you choose to balance it determines where it fits into your life;there is no right or wrong unless you choose to make it that.

Peace

:smh: According to some studies, in the U.S., 19 percent of Asians and 11 percent of whites don't believe in god. Even Latinos have 6 percent who don't believe in god. Only 2 percent of black people feel the same way.

Is it a coincidence that the most-educated group in the U.S. is the least likely to believe in crazy mythologies? Of course not.

Prayer and all that other foolishness will get you nowhere...and I mean nowhere fast. I personally do not be LIE ve in the fuckery, however if others choose to pray their lives away, so be it. Jus get the fucc outta my face and leave me alone about it. I mean who am I to tell them that they really don't sleep better with a nightlight on?

Yes sir!!!! They made the first bibles and the first churches....
For the most part it is. Remember to make a distinction between Christianity and Judaism. Then look at the area of where the religion started.

Why though?

And why are black folks obsessed with calling Jesus white cuz the pictures of him show a white man

The Bible and the location they were in say otherwise

Bible never states the race of Jesus. Even if he hid in Egypt(a popular argument to make him black), Egypt had been invaded by cacs 1600 years prior and again with Ptolemys and then Romans. Cacs were all over the area and have been in Israel for thousands and thousands of years. We aren't talking about nordic cacs. Think Mediterranean and Persian looking cacs.

Ethiopians became Christians after cacs. Remember, the so-called Jesus didn't invent the religion. Others did and spread it throughout the region.

This is an unfortunate truth. Religion keeps people in line or it gives them a line that they will not cross. It's like the Jehovah's Witness who will suck your dick but won't let you fuck her because she can get pregnant. It allows people to be bad up to a certain point. If there were no religion then people would do whatever they wanted to whenever they wanted to do it and would care less about hurting anyone. That fear that the Bible might be right keep people in line

I know this topic has been rehashed on the board 1000 times but that's all most folks need when it boils down to it(meditation/discipline/determination)....bottom line is no one knows anything for certain, not a religious fanatic or an atheist

take the good parts of the religions (most tend to all have the same common tenets) and leave the fluff (historical inaccuracies, fabrications, etc)

"churchians" get the bulk of the criticism since that is what most of our folks belong to however this applies across the board

We out pope the pope and out Mohammed Mohammed. We are a spiritual people but we are an easily tricked and confused people.

We sense African spiritually in those invader religions because of how they started out but we don't understand that what we follow today is no different than a movie BASED ON A TRUE STORY. Meaning it's not the same thing and most likely is filled with things designed to push the propaganda of those who would continue to exploit us.

Blog excerpt... posted for the link it contains...

See, when Christians are being persecuted in some manner, what generally tends to happen is that the victims hear something along the lines of “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” or “But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Perhaps, “In all their suffering he also suffered, and he personally rescued them. ” In other words, be patient they will get theirs. Just stand and watch the deliverance of the Lord. We hear promises such as “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Not really convincing when you’ve seen the future of an 18 year old ended by 6 shots and no guaranteed justice in sight. Not to mention remaining steadfast while seeking said justice when people vehemently oppose considering it for someone who had recently robbed a local store for cigars, as though that one act makes him ineligible for all time, or nullifies the wrong done to him by another. Weariness can definitely set in when you feel powerless and unheard. It wears one out to experience repeated insults and injuries while the world is either indifferent to or delighting in your misery. Death by 1000 paper cuts. You bleed out in the middle of the crowd, and remain invisible the entire time. This is not to discount the Word. I believe the Word of God has power. (I know there are those outside the faith that believe scriptures such as those above only encourage inaction and discourage working to change one’s situation, and while there are some who have used the word as such, the bible does not advocate this.) In times of challenges, these and other scripture have indeed been a real and present help, making it possible for Christians to hold on and weather hard times and injustice. However, when they are uttered as simple platitudes to absolve oneself from taking action to help another, or to allow evil to go unchallenged, we rob them of their power, and bring no real comfort to those who need it.

I'm thinking that blond/blue hair blue eyes picture that gets passed around

Why are we to believe that's how he looked?

That's an Eurocentric depiction. It's just like some black people now use an Afrocentric depiction of Jesus. Both depictions ignore the location and demographics of the time. If you look at things objectively, Jesus probably looked like a sand cac. People fail to realize the Sahara Desert is more of a barrier than the Mediterranean Sea and has been for thousands and thousands of years.

is this just about common day Christianity or including Islam (not NOI), African mysticism and so on?

also, what would you prefer to see Black people infatuated with spiritually or in a religious manner?
