What's The HArdest Academic Course You've Ever Taken?

I know that cats on this board are of different ages. I remember some dude being in his 90s but whatever if it be in high school, trade school, or college. What is the hardest course you've taken?

Accounting was the hardest course ever taken for me. It's a lot of hard thinking and reading. That makes chemistry, psychology, psychics, and biology feel like seventh grade math and science.

Financial Strategy with derivatives, options, futures and shit, that thing was the most difficult to pass

physics for me. it was engineering physics and i didn't take physics in high school and the prof of the class started talkin bout shit he knows we already know the first day of class and i'm in that muthafucka like:confused::confused: fuck ass alabama high schools in small towns won't teach you shit. i started college behind everyone else thank God for a minority engineering program at the school that is set up to help everyone to succeed

Quantum Mechanics and Applied Control Systems...I was an Engineering and Physics major in college...that shit had me shit seeing dizzy..but I got through it somehow.

Advanced Inorganic Chemistry
It's a senior level chem class, the highest class you can take as a chemistry undergraduate.

There were only 4 people in the class.

Three of them got Cs and Bs after a curve.

I got a D.

Fuck gay ass Dr. Adams.

mathmatics of finance was my hardest mainly cuz it was so time consuming doing all the shit by hand

Then the next semester we learned how to do all the same shit wit a financial calculator

I've heard Anatomy and Physiology were pretty hard. I'm taking that along with Statistics, and Chemistry soon. I hope those two aren't as hard as airedaler and Poet said.

Financial Strategy with derivatives, options, futures and shit, that thing was the most difficult to pass

when i took this class we also did a stock market simulation which made the stuff easier to learn

I made a killing off oil futures and google and apple stock, wish it would have been for real

An economics course...but only because she was a crazy anal retentive obsessive compulsive flip bitch...she was known as dragon lady...if the desks were not arranged in perfect row/column order we lost participation points...she gave out the most retarded final assignment ever...we had to type any 75 pages from out the textbook...straight copy it but it had to be EXACTLY in the format she wanted...some people typed out all 75 pages but their margin might've been slightly off and she threw the whole shit in the garbage...one time she tried that shit with me for a homework assignment...I think I forgot the page number or something in the heading and the bitch threw it in the garbage and said fetch it...I told her 'fukk you' and raised my foot to kick her desk and this girl grabbed me and walked me out the class...the worse thing you could do is talk back to dragon lady...that was basically a guaranteed 'F'....but shorty convinced me to go back and apologize in front of the whole class...I did... :hmm: ...I think I ended up with a 'B' in that class...it shoulda been an 'A'...the work won't hard but dealing with her was impossible...this bitch would literally spend the first 15 minutes of each class walking around the room making sure the desks were all lined up exactly...

Calc 2 I kid you not I have taken a Diff Eq. and a lot other math courses but this shit killed me

Chemistry never took it before college - dropped it

Theory of Computation - which covers algorithms and proving them - dropped it.

Calculus II,III - passed after emptying the library of books and buying an answer book.

Probability - passed because the professor gave us the mid term exam again for final.
This is computing probability i.e. the occurance of events and shit like that.

Discrete Math II - passed, the person(s) who got an A in this course had 40something in the exam. thats how difficult it was for everyone.

I'm not good with higher level calculations.

Calculus. Maybe I had bad professors, probably did. Once you get into abstract math and can't explain why you are doing certain things, I can't see it. Dropped it twice.

I breezed through Econ macro and micro. Funny how one mans heaven is another mans hell. My boy at the time failed econ, but passed stats. Go figure.

It wasn't the course material...it was the bitch ass teacher...for what it's worth math and loosely related courses are my favorite subjects...as a matter of fact I am getting a math endorsement on my license this year...we need more qualified math teachers in the hood as evidenced by this thread...

I had a good college professor who told me some 'Matrix' type shit...muthafukka said 'what would a calculator think'...I mean don't get me wrong you should have some grasp of concept...but don't spend too much time dwelling on the shit...

physics. I hate Math, was never good with calculus, etc....as long as I can balance my check book, add, subtract, divide, multiply I'm good. Physics is nothing but mathematical equations and shit. Happiest D I ever got in college  I was good with biology and chem, but physics hurt :smh:

physics for Scientists and Engineers. shit was crazy. That's when I realized I was not smart enough to be an engineer. LOL!

fuck what you heard i got my degree in chemistry i would love to do physics over again as long as i didnt have to do PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY over.:angry: it is like ORGANIC, INORGANIC, CAL 1&2, AND PHYSICS all wrap up in one big bundle. to be honest i got a D the first time had to take it over and thanks to MEI LING I got a B the second time. gotta to love them chinks i cheated my ass off the second time:dance::dance:

Diff Equations (failed once, dropped once finally passed in community college in summer school)

Followed closely by Probability and Statistics. Thats a class that starts out easy as shit but gets HARD real hard.

I had the same professor for both classes he owned me.

Probability and Stochastic Processes - Statistics

This got me out of math.

The most bewildering class I have ever taken. Saps any confidence you have in your abilities.

It is figuring out odds (e.g. gambling, blackjack, insurance) and taught me one thing, just because something has a 100% mathematical chance of occuring, doesn't mean it will!

I'm still trying to understand that 15 years later! Never took another math class after that.

But, it was probably the most useful math class I took in college. If you could Ace it (I didn't), you have a bright future in just about any money field (banking, insurance, stocks, bonds, etc).

The two others were PhD-level Microeconomic Theory and Quantitative Macroecnomics. The math was unreal.

At least the math course taught me something, useful.

Economics period didn't really seem to teach me very much useful. It's like all these schools are Federal Reserve brainwashing centers.

I hear you and that would've been cool, break it down to me like I'm a calculator. I had those, "If you don't get what I'm saying, I'm not going to explain it to you." kinda kats. For real, they would say shit like that and that's when I was like "I want my money back!"

Financial Strategy with derivatives, options, futures and shit, that thing was the most difficult to pass

so you must have your MAcc then?? where did you go?

hardest class i have taken so far is Intermediate Accounting III. and it wasnt that bad but i took it in the summer (about 2 months ago) and we FLEW threw the material.

statistics was also a bitch. i just couldnt wrap my mind around that shit. it just seemed illogical to me. i ended up with a B though. first time i took it i dropped after 3 weeks like . but then took again the following semester.

All of my damn accounting classes:smh::smh:

Math is my favorite subject, both my high school and college professor had me help them teach class
