While you always have to watch out for the Con, you also have to respect it when respect's due
What are some of the brilliant scams that you've witnessed over the years?

- Heard of a lady who used to take Kool-Aid packets at Wal-Mart, and place them over the tag of shit like clothing items and toys. That way she'd have to pay a fraction of the cost.

You need an inside man to do that shit.

Organized religion is the greatest con in the history of the world and has set black folks back for generations.
Still, I hate the hustle yet have to tip my hat to the hustler.

that ive seen?
gotta be The Miracle Cars Scam

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_cars_scam

fresh in the military, i walking into a new barbershop and seen a list of cars on the wall

something about an estate sale with a list of cars being sold at a fraction of the price

my barber and a few others i knew went out and got 2-3 side jobs to send money in for cars that never showed up

for amusement i was on the email list. i still have the email chains sent out with folks accusing others of not having faith and whatnot when the dates for the cars came, went, and new dates were posted

it was supposed to be made into a movie, but never happened

I've heard some people go to the self-checkout and for example the code for the cheapest apples is 4015 (at least that's the code at Giant Eagle) and use that code for any produce that's more expensive (fresh ginger, the good grapes, mushrooms, cotton candy grapes, organic produce).

Umm, someone I know, cough cough, cause she wanted dried mango strips, they sell in the bins you take stuff out yourself. It's like $10 a pound. You have to self bag and self weigh it then it prints out the sticker you put on the bag for the cashier, or self check out.

This lady showed the wife, just put in another item number in the machine that's like a dollar or two a pound. Them young cashiers just ring it up they don't know the diff.

Used to hear some horror stories of those conmen door-2-door salesmen who would sell overpriced vacuums to seniors, and/or scout out their homes for future robberies. I.E. - asking the right questions to realize they didn't have family or friends checking on them too frequently. Promising delivery of said vacuums in the $1200 - 1800 range (this is back in the late-80s or early-90s) and being paid right on the spot by way of cash or check. Then running the scam minutes later to additional unsuspecting victims.

I think I read a book on the story..Hispanic cat that had a gambling problem and his old co worker at a security job. Black dude from a church family.

LMBAO, What about the other one... I'm still waiting:lol2:

lol i know a lot of people that do that.

guy i knew use to own a video rental store. his way of getting movies was going to the stores buying something in a big box, they'd fill the box up with dvd's/vhs's ring out the box unload the box then return it....

person that was a partner for a brief minute stole a million dollars by dressing up an old crack head, cleaning him up getting him a fake driver's license and walking into banks pretending to be this guy who had millions and took out a total of 1.4 million before they were all caught.

Getting taxed on the money you've earned before you even see a penny of it, and then being taxed again when you decide to spend the money that's already been taxed. That being said, forcing a person that's been ripped away from their home and way of life to worship a god that looks like you, and telling them, that if they don't forgave you for THE most fucked up shit imaginable that you've done to them, that god, that looks like you, will not bless them. Oh, by the way, in order to get those blessing you've earned for forgiving me for fucking you over, you have to die first.

Like I said to my aunt that was ripping me for attending Bedside Baptist every Sunday, "You guys claim that heaven is this paradise that's worth living right and dying for, but then I see a lot of these so-called Christian preachers doing foul shit. Since they're preaching the Gospel and STILL doing all of this foul shit, heaven must not be this paradise y'all claim it to be, because even THEY ain't willing to do right to get there, and they're the ones spreading the Word."

Any of those selling shit scams where you have to buy a license to sell the shit. Then when you can't make the money back they tell you to sell the licenses to other people.
I get tired of people thinking I'm supposed to shell out 500-1k to bail them out bullshit they jumped in.

Rent to own places- You end up paying 4x what it would cost straight up

Politics
Shoes- paying $100+ for something that costs 10 bucks to make

Tshirts- Take some underwear and put your logo on it "Levi's, Nike,Budweiser etc" and charge a person 30 bucks for it.

thats the one.

it spread like wildfire through the black churches

ironically, their blind faith and shaming of others without it kept it going

trump. A lifetime of scams. The biggest of them is getting elected President so he couldn’t be indicted as long as he’s in office

Who gonna indict Trump even if he wasn't in office? That's they man. He is a part of the elite. He runs with the ppl who DECIDE who gets indicted/arrested/sent to prison/etc.

Y'all keep falling for the BS they say on TV.

Best believe when they want someone to go down here in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, they just DO IT. They don't take months and years just to make a decision that now they gonna "look into it officially". They just yoke a mofo up outta there quick, fast, and in a hurry.

For the people that said organized religion is the best scam ever, it is not.. Big bizz/ banks convincing humans that they only exist to run their operations and generate money for them.. In a sense humans are juss living batteries..used to energize the machine and when you are no longer useful are thrown away and replaced by new batteries aka the new generation... Remember even atheist work... Big bizz>>>organized religion
