Call animal control then make a lot of loud noises to try scare him off if i lived in an area like that i would keep some bear spray handy . Worser things could happen though

Had a bear cut in front of me driving away from my dad’s place one morning before 8am in late-May.
It was running up a hill from a side street. Mid-sized and was alone. 5 - 10 mins on foot from the nearest woods.
Even inside of the moving car it had me quickly shook. Had it been a few minutes prior I would have had my back turned getting into the car to pull a quick u-turn before exiting that street.

Saw a bear cub outside the Ravinia building in Dunwoody Georgia. We both froze, stared each other down, and went our separate ways.
I was shook because the mother had to be close by.
I couldn't walk back into the building fast enough.
