Klondike Car Stolen In Carjacking, Shooting
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Police are searching for at least two suspects who shot a man and carjacked his "Klondike car" at the intersection of 45th Street and Village Boulevard.
Overnight, officers said a man in his 20s was shot in the leg during the carjacking. The bullet moved up to his stomach. He was reported to be in stable condition at St. Mary's Hospital.
Someone driving by spotted the victim in the middle of the street and called for help.
According to detectives, the victim was driving the silver car with Klondike ice cream bar logos painted on the side of it. They said the suspects drove off in a green sedan or coupe.
At the scene the victim's friend, who didn't want her name released, asked anyone with information to come forward.
"Don't be scared. Because what they did tonight to him didn't make any sense. His life could (have been taken) over a car and some rims," she said.
Police said they recovered the stolen car Friday night
