So the nfl and its individual team owners are locking out Kap because he took at stance against social injustice. The fact that the Dolphins were willing to sign long-term trash Christian Ponder pretty much tells us that Kap ever playing again is unlikely. Cutler is a bum. Ponders is beyond a bum... he's just white...no other redeeming qualities as a QB...hasn't even started a game in years.

I love the NFL and fantasy football... but i really don't want to support to this. How can I talk shit about NFL players not taking a knee to support Kap and I can't even take the easiest step of not watching the shit?

Kap is top 5 of all time TD to INT ratio... top 20 all time in QBR... he might his issues but there is no way to make a football argument for what's going on here.
 
there is no way to make an argument about Kaep's situation, was born in NOLA, losers for the longest, but a raiders fan, then they had their spell..... don't really get the chance to watch sunday games so this will be ez.....
 
The NFL product isnt what it used to be, I prefer college ball by a long shot. The Bears have sucked the better part of the last decade, so Ive been apathetic on Sundays for a while. Really just watched it because thats what you did on Sunday and there really aint shit else on TV from 1-8. But I can not watch another NFL game the reason of my life and be ok. Im sure wifey can think of plenty to do on Sundays.
 
NFL been in your face biased for years... from coach hires, to GM positions, to quarterback position the list goes on..... people want to boycott now that an average skilled half-breed can't get a job....please..

I can't wait for the season to start. Tampa Bay Bucs season tix holder and I'm flying to see two games in Pittsburgh.

Yeah... But sometimes you pull the wrench a little bit too fucking far and snap the bolt... Thats pretty much what happened.
 
Whatever happened for me to stop watching it in 2013.

I need to update my awareness of the current sponsor roster.
 
white ancestors forced majority of your black ancestors into slavery and working for them..in modern day times there's a bunch of ways to make money without working for cacs and making them progress and become richer..yet lot of nigs still work for cacs..i don't see nigs boycotting working for the white man in honor of their ancestors..yet nigs wanna boycott the nfl cause they denying kap.. 1 boycott would make a bigger diff in society guess which 1 no one is gonna do or talk about?? bigger picture goin over most heads
 
They did the same thing to Rosa Parks and her husband (blacklisting) when she refused to give up her seat. There was no civil rights laws to sue an employer.

I am blacklisted, one of things they will do is defame your character or abilities. Or sic the black coon on you. Her husband tried to commit suicide after being fired and blacklisted, it is a horrible experience. I refuse to give up and will apply to jobs until I die.

I am trying to go back to what I did before so I can leave the country next year.

After seeing the list of the major sponsrs, I pretty much already boycott them..same as the NFL..I don't buy merch or tix..I try to never give billionaires my discretionary money..I'm pretty much a casual fan. I lIke to watch, but can live without it.

At this point, IMO, it ain't even about Kap getting signed. Its about us standing together for SOMETHING.

My biggest hope is that this whole ordeal awakens and galvanizes a sleeping giant..a giant lulled to sleep for years by modest gains, apathy, complacency, distractions in sports and entertainment..

Dovetailing on the OP's question..If not now, when? If not this issue, which other one?

the director of the last xmen movies is a boy toucher why didn't some of ya boycott the pedo directed films???

I wish I could being up all those posts from a couple of years ago when I and a few others were called everything from gay to stick to watching ballet and gymnastics because we no longer watched games. I personally stopped watching...

*NFL's handling of the Ray Rice incident. They try to throw dude under a bus even when he was being completely honest about that incident with his now wife.

*The Concussion Controversy. Fuckers are still trying to skirt from that one. It's obvious the NFL and team owners don't care about their players.

*The Grandfather's death. This was a personal one. Because we watched Football together (or whenever I would visit) since the late 60s. After he passed, I was kind of done.

Now add Kaepernick to the list. If it's not obvious, that some of US are stuck on stupid.

All these Black Players, office peeps, and fans. And most of US aren't even mentally prepared to handle a simple boycott. No wonder we are a laughing stock and not taken seriously.
 
I'm boycotting this season, got tired of getting hype for the season. Only to get the same results at the end. Been a Dallas fan since 77, haven't seen a super bowl since 95. 22 years ago GTFOH, while I've seen teams win multiple chips. We get put out by the Packers on a Dez Bryant catch. Co-worker said that was the best incomplete catch I've ever seen.

Then go on a winning streak last season to get put out by the Packers again! I made a vow that I won't watch another game until Dallas is in the Super Bowl!

I thought it was V-dub??? Doesn't really matter. If you want to start a Merc and Xmen boycott that's cool. But we're not talking about them right now, we're talking about THIS here situation.

Normally we see eye to eye on most things but what's your point here brother??? That we finally decided to say fuck the NFL and it's sponsors but didn't boycott others??? Yeah... And??? Maybe we didn't know about other situations I'm sure you have at the ready to hold up, maybe we didn't care. Ans theres room to discuss that on the side. But again... What does any of that have to do with this boycott???

both were discussed here..hell i kept reminding people about pedo director and yet people made excuses about why they gonna "pay" and see it..my kids wanted to see it, it's tradition for us to go, well he didn't get arrested, etc all kinda bullshit..what's the diff benz helped slaughter millions, pedo director touch various boys, nfl hasn't hired 1 player..which 1 out of them 3 don't come close to travesty?? out of the 3 what's the only 1 where people actually aren't coming out of pocket for it.. nfl games are "free" to watch on espn, various basic channels, hell u can watch all them online for free thanx to sports streaming sites... ur paying for a benz, ur paying for tix or buying the dvd/blue ray of xmen..watching a game is diff than buying a product.. people still went out and "paid" after hearing about the negatives of each company, me watching a game on a free streaming site generates zero dollars for the nfl..hell i make money off of nfl from sports betting and doin events around certain games..does xmen or benz make people money on here??? kap getting blackballed to me don't have the same effect as pedo's in hollywood and companies creating war machines.. but guess what people will put less energy into boycotting pedo's and war machines creators and more energy into a guy whose been denied a job.. nobody stop paying for movies when that black actor blurted out fag and got blackballed for hollywood gigs
 
Fans who boycott the game are not going to do much harm to the league sadly.

They make their money off viewership, ticket sales and sponsorship.

As soon as one fan (or a group) fails to renew their season tickets, another fan is willing to buy in.

They made their money already through sponsorships and network deals are already in place.

Said it in another thread, the players are the ones that need to be in the forefront of making changes. Once they start refusing to play, then you'll see changes happen.

Outside of viewership and ticket sales, how does a fan boycott work?

I've been "boycotted" the NFL but in different ways.

I live in a different market than my favorite team and pretty much stream games online.

I haven't been to a live NFL game since 2010 and haven't bought a jersey since 2005ish...and I bought that joint at Marshall's.

I hardly watch TNF or MNF unless my team is playing.

I will watch Post season though.
