MINE: The Shooting of Walter Scott

A Lot of questionable shootings; and so many have died.

A lot of lack of evidence; and a lot of justice denied.

But this one clearly showed; the police lied.

My wish, my hope: let this one be the start of the storm,

That seriously begins the task of police tactics reform.

The No Child Left Behind Act (other laws)that was incompetently written by our political leadership being reformed thanks to work by me to the Every Student Succeeds Act that was signed into law today. It will be covered up by the media of course to avoid embarrassment and I will continue to suffer under stifling surveillance and harassment but it is worth it to see somebody getting chance that would have failed before. This gives me inspiration to keep fighting.

You did not fail, our political leadership failed you. This will help more students succeed, especially minority students.

This is a start but there are more reforms that are desperately needed.

Chicago police kill emotionally disturbed college student and 55-year-old mother . . . At a news conference on Sunday, LeGrier’s mother told reporters that her son was not violent or troubled . . . “What happened to tasers?” she asked.
