What is your biggest complaint about...

P.S.,, don't take advice from a guy that's trying to get your booty, he'll tell you whatever the hell you want to hear. That could make your problem worse, remember, he doesn't want you with another guy, he wants you all to himself. Sometimes women like to hear what they wanna hear instead of the truth.

Sadly I had to learn this the hard way

Wassup ladies and gentlemen. I'm taking a quick break from the main board and ran across this thread.

Something has been on my mind lately and p.ledet kinda brought to the forefront.

The question is:

Have men and women truly evolved when relating to each other or are we stuck on stupid and have been for sometime?

i think that the dynamics of relationships have changed dramatically since the past generation (more divorce, more single parents, more cohabitation)...alot of those things were looked down upon and now are nothing new

not to mention men and women have different views on traditional gender roles than our parents

however, taking that all into consideration i would say that the same issues men and women have had over time are still major obstacles for us...infidelity, lack of communication, and problems like that

the more things change the more they stay the same :dunno:

Thanks for your input Lonestar and Desire. I hear you and agree. You 2 have a pleasant evening and Hope to talk to you again sometime.

Peace

I can make plenty of complaints about all men not Black men specifically

This thread has been a interesting read. "Some" of the women in this thread have come off as angry and bitter on the main board imho. I am glad that I'm not the type to judge a book by it's cover. This thread has made me rethink my first assumptions. Looking forward to reading more.

i hope that black women are aware that honky males let rapist outta jail in 2 years

honky males let child molesters outta jail in 6 months

that's all i've got to say about this topic.

I see you took the blue pill....

I would like to add know-it-all to the mix please ... a good majority of the men I meet all seem to think they are philosophers when in all actuality they are idiots

LOL! You crazy

I WILL say one thing that I touched on before. A few men who have approached me have this thing of making it seem like I should be so thankful and happy that they are interested in me. It's like they assume I like black men and that any black man (they, themselves) will do. No questions about if I'm feeling them or would like to get to know them. Just assumptions. I'm always polite and say "I'm not interested in you like that", but this arrogance/confidence/oblivion is annoying.

EDIT: for the sensitive people  I only deal with black men so that's who I am talking about

This is very true ... it's sort of a cave mans mentallity ... I like you so I will club you and take you back to the cave ... they don't really give you the option sometimes ... and if you actually get it out that you aren't feelin' them for whatever reason all hell breaks loose and now you are everything that is wrong in the world it's like :smh:
