The same people who are champion Griner are the same people who locked up millions.

No I'm not surprised by devils being devils. Ghouliani needs to go to jail for filing a vexatious claim. Which lead to someones wrongful arrest.
 
No president in the world would give in. Especially if Russia is making the demand.

For starters not every drug offender is a pothead busted for low level possession. Releasing them all would mean putting monsters like El Chapo back on the streets. Not only that, but it would essentially give immunity and residence to every violent drug trafficker in the world the moment they hit US soil.

Look how much damage the Sacklers and Purdue did. Now imagine 20 more companies with a free pass to do business with impunity across the United States.

It would also mean that the United States gives up its national sovereignty which weakens their position in all other international negotiations.

Yes, it's incredibly hypocritical, but when it comes to foreign relations who really cares?
 
Why stop at drug offenders, what if he also demands the release of all sex offenders, serial killers, folks who didn't return library books, all zoo animals, plus e.t. from area 51, bet that'll send a message to the United States to mind their own beeswax!

Greiner is not LeBron James famous but she has her fans. On top of that she's a black female lesbian who got arrested in the country that everybody hates for possessing a substance that everybody wants to legalize.

She checks every liberal box you can think of and she gets arrested right before the midterms?

Of course Biden is going to fight for her release!

If Griner goes free Biden looks like a hero even if he had nothing to do with it. If she gets a ridiculous sentence Biden can use her as a symbol for why the Democrats have to stay in power to fight authoritarianism at all costs.

He will only release her if those sanctions are lifted.
That's the only way I see that happening.
