What if?

if they where both still alive today, i think Malcolm would of been a much better leader, king would of being like bill clinton with all those sex scandals

looks interesting... I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when these 2 great black men spoke with each other...

we know they had a photo op together..but i don't think they ever met to discuss strategy and philosophy of the movement..at least its not public knowledge if they did..

King did meet with the Nation of Islam though.

Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson & Malcolm - By Messenger Elijah Muhammad

A man in the Bible rises up in Revelations with the Key of both Death and Hell. He has the knowledge of the devil and prepares him, the devil, for his doom that God made him for.

The white race was not even made to be saved. I know you don't agree with me, but just stick around.

One of the professors from Chicago University sitting in my house one day wanted to know were not some devils good. I told him as I had told many others: "There are lots of snakes. Some of the snakes are not as poisonous as the others, but they are snakes just the same."

This is the thing Reverend Martin Luther King agreed with me on. He said, "I will grant you that. Some may not be as evil as the others but they are all from the same stock."

Reverend King was a man who was frightened to death by white people because they had tried to buy him over, but he was not so big a fool as they thought.

After he met me they learned that Reverend Martin Luther King and I were making up a friendship together. I went down to our place where we were going to meet and have a Convention. When I got down to this place I acknowledged that Martin Luther King was a great man and that he and I were getting along fine. He agreed with me and I agreed with him (not in his way) but Martin Luther King woke up right away. The devils sitting out in front of my house with their electronic and mechanical instruments tuned in, listened to what we were saying.

From that meeting on they had made up their minds to kill Martin Luther King. They thought they had prepared him thoroughly to lead you to hell with them.

You see what happened to the poor man. If the devil's disciples do not follow him, he kills them. But there is One disciple who is not his: Long before I was born, God warned him to, "Touch not My Annointed."

Take Reverend Jesse Jackson. Poor boy. He's making a fool of himself just to be called "Reverend Jackson" by the devil. He knows me and he has been to my house two or three times. Why should not he and I get together if he is working for the Black Man? I am working for the Black Man. Let us all join together who are working for the Black Man. The work will be stronger if we unite together to work together.

But he likes his blue-eye devils because they call him "Reverend Jackson" Jackson is the name of the devils. If he would come over to me, I would give him an honorable name and he could take it, and go all around the world and be honored by the Nations of the Earth. But he wants to be called "Reverend Jackson" and tries to run politics and preach Christianity too. So the poor boy is just in a mess.

I hate to see the devil white man make fun of our people. This man could have been made a fine man for Black people. We talked together a few times but he just loves to be called "Reverend" by the blue-eyed devil. He doesnt' want any black eyes honoring him. We will honor him for what he is worth but not in the way the devil worship. They will dump him after a while like they do all who follow them.

They call themselves worshipping Martin Luther King. When Martin Luther King visited my home, the devils sat out there in their car and tuned in on what we were talking about.

I guess they heard him say that he agreed with me that they are the devil. When the devil saw that Elijah was winning their disciple over, they went and shot him.

They had also set up a hypocrite for Elijah and that was Malcolm. They are encouraging you to worship Malcolm. They go build a college and name it after him, to pull you away from me.

He knows that Malcolm was not with me. They get you to worship hypocrites of Elijah Muhammad so that you will go to Hell with them.

But my God has not put forth 100% effort yet to make you see the Truth. When He does, you will not go to Hell with them.

Just my opinion but what folk don't realize is all this disrespect and us killing us that occurs today is a direct misinterpretation of the "by any means necessary" doctrine. King understood as did Malcolm, later that today you hate ur enemy but tomorrow you'll hate ur brother. Hate can't be controlled. Fixation and healing (yeah I said it, and used it like a rap guy) comes thru love and understanding perhaps education. Finally the irony of it all was that Malcolm stood for stopping the man from doing damage before he did the damage but U never heard of him raising his hand in any violence. King was the figure head for peace but that guy standing next to him would've killed U to save king or the movement as would any number of king's followers. Just something to think about.

some of you niggas are so ignorant of history its disgusting

read a fucking book for once

MLK and X never discussed strategy is just the dumbest shit ive heard this month

but yall know every porn whores every scene, birthday, and childhood story

Malcolm would never be able to get over his darkly criminal past with a wider audience.

Statements like this is part of the reason why most "niggas" don't know who killed Malcolm and why.

Most black people love and respect Malcolm's plight because of his past.

Exactly. And most BLACK people don't give a shit about King's Clinton-esque adultery either. The point was about who would've made a stronger leader if they'd lived, and it's clear that King had less baggage than Malcolm, and could communicate better across racial lines. King never belonged to a racist organization.

only crackas try to pit one strong Black man against another. They both fought for the same goals from different ideologies. We needed them both and still need them both.

You know that's not true. The NOI killed Malcom, and hated King. No different from the "rap war" mentality.

They both fought for the same goals from different ideologies. We needed them both and still need them both.

That's fine. Tell that to the BLACK poster who said Malcolm would've been superior to King as a leader, even though he never helped changed a single law.

and statements like this is part of the reason why the black community suffers like we do..instead of correcting me or enlightening me one black MAN to another you chose to insult me... and how does anyone grow from that.. what good comes from that other than your feeling superior in some knowledge you may have but don't feel necessary to share. And you chose "divine" as a nickname??? More like diVIDE.. "nigga" please:hmm:

I did correct you.. but the problem is, all you had to do was do a little research (and I'm willing to bet you still haven't looked it up on your own)... quit catching feelings, you getting moist.

Yea.. he was murdered you cracka... he was trying to bring the fight to the world stage by petitioning the United Nations. The US State Dept even got involved trying to stop Malcolm..

He never helped change a single racist law (while King was instrumental in changing them all). Period. The United Nations don't mean shit in Alabama.

SPoken like a cracka who doesn't know shit.... by bringing the fight to the world stage (like the US does when it wants to influence other Nations) you drum up world support. King did what he did, and Malcolm was doing what he did.. they each fought on different fronts.

Why why why? Why do people continue to engage Blunt in bullshit conversation when they already know what Blunt is? Folx always trying to one up Blunt to look smart when most smart people already know it's asinine to argue with a troll :smh:

quit acting like a smug kid, the insults or attitude isn't necessary "brother"..you come off immature..

each one teach one..or didn't the egyptians teach that..:hmm:

And King didn't?? He inspired non-violent freedom fighters all over the world.

King did what he did, and Malcolm was doing what he did.. they each fought on different fronts.

Malcolm X achieved nothing of consequence politically for black people in the U.S. He was basically just a "rock star" who was interesting and exciting to listen to (both before and after his ties to the racist NOI), but who didn't actually help change anything in the practical sense.

I beg to differ, Martin Luther King would be a America's own "Nelson Mandela".Actually just look at Martin Luther King's legacy today and compare it to Malcom X. Malcom X was too militant and for that history judges him harshly

Way to massage that word usage. By your definition of instrumental why would we even need a Malcolm or a King if we had Thurgood?

I hate it but l have to agree with you Blunt on this one. Martin Luther King's dream of integration is the one we are living today. It is also important to note that Martin Luther King was more of a civil rights activists whilst Malcom X was a black liberationist. Malcom X's dream of liberation of blacks from whites was not viable, it might have worked in some other African country.

good read I love these types of threads to test my knowledge and alot of times I learn alot of things I didnt know
