What ever happened to OUTKAST CLOTHING COMPANY?

For those who don't remember, Outkast came out with a clothing line circa 2000. No, not that Benjamin Bixby line 'Dre came out with a few years ago. Looking back, the some of the gear may seem outdated but back then it was on par with Sean John and Rocawear.

Usually when a rapper loses their appeal, their clothing line falls off but Outkast never fell off. If they were the shit back in 2000, how come their clothing line never took off?

Actually it was doing well, but Andre and Big Boi halted production and sued the company producing the clothes due to poor quality.

urban fashion matured beyond the big tshirts n shit... dre3000 has a line called benjamin bixby. last i read it was having financial problems tho...

lol nah just matured beyond the big tees and hoodies and shit...

i dont think i ever seen anybody wearing benjamin bixby.

Matured to what tho? Outkast came out a year before Throwbacks came into style. Did the Throwback craze have anything to do with their clothing line falling off?

I had one of their Outkast jerseys - it was like the FUBU jerseys except it said Outkast across the chest in cursive, I think it was cotton and polyester. It was the same one Big Boi had on in the "In Da Wind" video

Except mine was white, and the sleeves were red, blue and white. I loved that jersey, that shit was fresh (along with my first pair of all-white Air Ones) and it was comfortable. Them FUBU jerseys made a nigga sweat.
