Ill be 25 years old tomorrow and I'm just looking for some words of wisdom from the older bgolers. My family and close friends often question why I choose to remain single and childless. I just feel there's so much left for me to accomplish before I turn 30.

Anyway I'd really appreciate any general advice from the fam

Man how time flies.

Why did they want you to fuck up your life by having kids and getting married before 25? 25 is too young to be throwing your life away if want to accomplish anything worth while, that's weird that they would advise you to quit your single, striving life so young :smh:

Save as much money as you can my dude. You will NEED it in the future. Don't buy the fanciest shit now, save that dough for more important things down the line. And even if you can afford the fancy shit, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Also, make sure you keep reading and self educating yourself. Focus on setting yourself up now so that at 35-40 you will be set.

Here's mine bruh, and Happy Birthday:

~Pussy will get you in more trouble than it's worth; be smart about who you fuck with

~Some folks will hate/find fault on/with you regardless, so just let them be. A lot of these folks will be family. Don't be afraid to cut them off and keep it moving.

~Save at least 10% of what you earn, and shoot for more. Read the book "The Richest Man in Babylon" for reference. Invest and invest wisely and if you chose invest counsel, pick that wisely as will.

~"Good Debt" and "Bad Debt" is still debt. Avoid debt as much as you can.

~There's nothing wrong with having a small circle of friends

~Be willing to pay a little bit more for quality (food, clothing, autos) you'll save more in the long run (health and replacement cost, etc.)

~TRAVEL. See the country and the world

~Having a family/kids and all that is great, but if that's not what you want, don't force it, fuck what everyone else says.

~This one might sound odd, but if you can afford it GET INSURANCE; specifically, get a long-term disability policy, and if you ever plan to have a family, term life insurance. If you are healthy, lock that shit in for 30 years NOW. If something ever happens to you and you become sick/hurt, you won't qualify which could cause long-term financial issues down the line.

I'll add more as they come to me.

Young ass ninja...(joking)

--Respect money. Be a minimalist. Save $$$. Stay clear of debt of all kinds if possible.
--Focus on your career. Strive to get better and earn more $$$
--Have a small circle of friends (useful friends who have the same drive you have...go gettters)
--No need to rush into relationships/children.
--Stay healthy. Work out, and eat healthy. These are your prime years.

As more thoughts come, I will add.

Happy Birthday too...!!! Live it up!!!

Diamonds and jewelry, shit flossing is useless. Diamonds are pretty rocks, no more, no less. The money you save not doing it can net you a nice house, car-all the things that are much more valuable in the long run. Flossing for broads? For fake friends-useless

don't get arrested...you don't know how good it is to have a clean record until you begin looking for work

Sly,

Early birthday wishes, fam'. Keep doing what you're doing and focus on who's most important in your life - yourself / your family / your loyal friends. Surround yourself with good people and work hard ... that way you can play hard when you're a bit older and everything's in line for when you're married / a father, etc. That way you're not scrambling later on ... plus ... save up plenty in the emergency fund and for housing/real estate.

I just turned 29 years old last month and I still don't have a wife or kids. Gotta a steady girlfriend but that's it.

Before all that happens, I want to be fully established. I know what that means to me, but only you know what that means to you.

So just continue to set goals for yourself, implement them, and refrain from making obvious mistakes in life.

However, some [good] risks are necessary in order to improve.

Find one thing you love and be a master at it. (I don't care what it is) If you are the best at something and you can prove it through actions people will pay money for it.

When you get older you regret what you DIDN'T do So follow your heart and do whatever the fuck you want

Its women EVERYWHERE!!!! Tripping over some girl in your city is crazy she isn't specail you just found her I promise there are many more like her You just have to find them too

Buy classic clothing Levis, Polo, etc. That shit never goes out of style (and in most cases EVERYBODY takes that shit back if you grow out of it)

In 2012 there is no such thing as a crew of real niggas... Its almost impossible!!! One or two real niggas is the most a man will get every other nigga is someone you are just cool with. PLEASE don't trust your business with these random ass niggas that shit will destroy you 9/10 break ins, hate, and acts of viloence come directly from niggas like this. They are NEVER to be trusted

Keep your mouth shut when you fuckin these girls you'll get 10x the amount of ass when girls know you can keep a secert. Trust me whatever you tell one nigga he telling another nigga who is telling another nigga...

Children out of wedlock should be avoided at all cost That shit aint fair to you, her, or the kid

Lastly get off the interent and live your life You gone have plenty of time to be stuck in a chair Have fun young man because you'll be an old ass nigga soon enough

Happy Birthday (now go out and fuck the thickest bitch you know)

Karma is real... "What goes around comes back around."

Life is a circle - Be careful what you put out there.

Plan your life well.

What I learned after 25?

Shit is real, and the worse the decisions make your life seem longer.

have fun till your 30, but when your 30 have your career straight and be getting some money. when your getting good money at 30, feels like your 20 again. if your broke and 30, youll feel old ass shit. good luck kid

Nobody owes you anything in this world. Your well being is less important to other people than it is to you.

Most important thing I learned is that never lean on one form of income. Don't get complacent at a job even if you make great money, if you don't own it, it can always be taken away, prepare like every day you will be fired. Therefore if it happens your next move is already in motion.

-Don't try to party at 35 like you did at 21. Don't try to party at 43 like you did at 35...especially if you have a career.

-Understand that while bitches ain't shit at that age...neither are you, so keep fucking without too many attachments (especially kids).

-Be able to live with your mistakes...you're gonna make them.

-Be able to live with your regrets...you're gonna have them.

-Focus on being successful...by 40 success (hopefully) will be like a part-time job. I waited till my 30's before I stopped fucking up, so I'm slightly behind the curve.

Enjoy your b-day playa

things I learned

Build yourself from the inside out
Dont let no one stand in your way
Think with your mind 100% of the time and never with your heart
Take chances....learn from others who fuck up
Take a moment to reflect and chill
Never leave hoes, bitches, sluts and niggas alone...you will need at least one of them at some point in your life:lol: trust me they been through shit that may shed light on things you are will go through

last but not least

Always wear sunglasses...not only will you look cool but it will allow you to handle anything life throws at you:D

~ No matter how bad or hurtful the problem is.. Think before you react.

~ You can break any rule you want to, as long as you are prepared to suffer the concesquences of your actions.

~ Never talk about who you fuck to your crew.. There is ALWAYS a pussy weak dude somewhere within arm's length, that will sale you out to a chick in hopes of bettering their chances of getting some pussy.

~ People are NEVER who they say they are the last time you saw them, they are ALWAYS the person they where the whole time you knew them.

Never trust a woman. Not because they are all untrustworthy, but because they are too emotional at times to think things through.

Never spent your last bit of money... skip meals if you have to, but always save something.

Eat healthy.

Don't let your pride be a barrier to success. Yes, you should stand for something, but pick your battles wisely because with each year everything becomes relative.

Make your circle very small and only deal with people on a personal level that you trust your life with.

I am currently 31 years old....

-What people think of you or what you are doing will become more and more of a trival matter with age and will open the door to you finding true happiness.

-Pussy will start to lose its "magical" qualities and become an MEANS to an end (pleasure) than the END itself. LET THAT SINK IN AND THEN READ IT AGAIN . This will greatly change your dealings with women...for the better.

-You will start to see the fruits of your labor be they good or bad.

-You will start to accumulate enough life experiences to start to see the patterns in things and start seeing a couple of steps ahead. Especially in relationships.

-You will contemplate reinventing yourself, and then LIFE will step in and makesure you do.

Enjoy your 25 birthday fam.:)

by far, one of theeee best posts i have read in a long time....but anyways, young buc, i'm 33 and this is what i have to offer you
1) Start saving your money. i dont know what you do for a living but if you are making decent money now, try to make sure you have about $30,000 saved up by the time you're 30
2) Practice delayed gratification (you will need to apply this in order to achieve step 1
3) Always strap up
4) Avoid criminal enterprises to avoid a record (like one of the posters above said)
5) Travel (if you have a job that offers yearly uppage in salary, see if you can substitute an increase in salary for more vacation time)
6) Start to figure out what your purpose is in life
7) Exercise regularly, eat healthy, avoid nicotine, weed and any other illicit drugs
8) Have fun with women but do not take them seriously
9) Start to envision where you want to be @ 40, and how you plan on accomplishing that vision
10) Work hard and play hard.

Too much to quote. Practically this entire thread. All I can add that I havent really seen is keep yourself first. Its ok to be selfish because most of the time the people you think has your back don't. Even if you have kids. Some people might disagree but if it'll keep them straight in the long run then do it. Besides that live your life man you only get one. You don't end up saying "I wish" or "I should've" too much. Happy Birthday

pussy gets easier the older you get.

........^^^^^^^^^^^what they said

there's a fine line between living for today, while still planning for tomorrow,,, doing either extreme (without balance) can be a bad thing,,,

i have seen people who kicked it so hard & spent freely in their 20's, & now they have nothing to show for it,,, & while they may have had a ball in their youth, these are the people you currently see looking old & burned out at 35+ years old,,, their best days are already behind them,,,

on the flip side, i have also seen people so focused careers & saving money, that they missed out on their youth (pussy, parties, traveling, friends, family, etc),,, once your youth is gone, you can't get it back,,, that's a bad look seeing 40+ year old people at the 21 & older club trying to dress like, & act like, people half their age,,, find your balance

this right here

1) Master the control of your vices/utilize self control

2) Master your emotions but dont dare be emotionless

3) Hack away at all the non-essential bullshit everyone else usually gets caught up in FADS ie..Playstation 9's ,and Ipad 7's and shit like that)

4) Dont leave your house on payday take a nap instead.

5) Buy top notch quality so you dont have to buy the same thing again and again.

6) For every 100 dollars you make put at minimum 15.00 in the bank and consider it your 40 yr old self taxing the 25year old you, you will love yourself later :yes:Or get a mutual fund and do the same thing.

7) Get a smart side hustle(s) and the money that you make doing it, use the same equivalent from your job and put that in your 401k.

8) stay focus and diligent and get in the best physical condition you can. It has no financial equivalent.

9) Abuse your Blue Cross and Blue shield if you have it (glasses, eye exams, hearing test, podiatrist, dermatologist, dental health, teeth whitening, chiropractor,)...take care of yourself.

10) If you choosing one Choose your mate from the composite not just the swimsuit...meaning sense of family, career, finances, ambition, intelligence.

Lastly... I know you love butter pecan ice cream like I do but now that Im 40 it gives me the shits!!
