I lived in Cali and I live in Brasil now and I have to disagree. However, Cali is not without its fair share of dimes. But to say that Cali rivals Brasil in terms of both quality and quality is outrageous. However, everyone has their own tastes I guess. Most people never leave a small few block radius in Rio so even the people who visit here are not the best judges. And the worst quality resides on the strip on Copacabana that caters to tourists.
Cali has dimes, but you have to seek them out. I live in Sao Paulo now, I can just look out my window. When I lived in Ipanema in Rio..i just had to walk 3 minutes to get to Posto 9 at the beach..more dimes per capita there than anywhere in Cali..shit I could just roll around the corner to a local restaurant..sit outside..and watch dime after dime. The slightly above average Brasilian chick comes to the U.S. and it top notch. The slightly above average American bird comes to Brasil and doesn't even get looked at. I know, because some of my female friends have come down here and got no attention.
