I retired today @ age 58. It's a weird feeling, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I've been working since I was 15, so this new routine is going to take some getting used to. I turn 59 tomorrow. We leave for Panama for good on 5/3.

Don't know yet. I'm going to try to get into the local music scene as a bassist. I'm also going to dive deep into the language.

Like I mentioned to you before - my mom retired in her early-60s and I told her she looked healthier in retirement than she did in her 40s balancing work & family. She was dressing more stylishly. Exercising more & plenty more walking. Joined a dragonboating team. Later in her 60s and early-70s has been involved in book & music clubs, and sang in a choir. Got a chance to travel more internationally too.


You are gonna have a blast in Panama.
