Presentation description
People of African descent (The Whole Human Race -John G. Jackson) have been restricted to a construct of Time called ‘Anno Domini’ and have been generally educated into a non-challenging state of being. This presentation is designed to both reconsider and give awareness of the structure and its restrictive influence in the realization of Human Potential. This becomes especially important in the face of the (re) emerging reality of the acknowledgement of Ancestral Intelligence held in the Mitochondrial DNA of the Mother Lineage principle aka ‘The Golden Thread’.
Join us for an informative discussion on new ways to comprehend time and mentally empower ourselves.
About the speaker
CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST Paul Obinna Wilson-Eme was born in Preston, and raised in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1959.
Officially adopted into a local white family, he encountered much racially based physical and mental hostility throughout his childhood, resulting in a mind-set of self-depreciation and counter-aggression to the circumstances he experienced as the only child of colour in his schooling up to the age of eleven.
After experiencing direct racism from a fellow four year-old pupil of Scottish origin on his first day in school, the key thing he heard from his Mother was the explanation that his colour came from being “…Half-English and Half-African”. Following this explanation, he became a magnet for anything that came his way that was African and positive however, the first real role model pointed out to him by a family friend who’d seen him come home upset by yet another racial skirmish was the Mozambican Portuguese footballing
legend Eusabio.
At the age of eleven, he was told of his true parentage, which in response gave him deep-seated anger towards his absent father and in turn to himself. Eventually, to focus this resultant aggression, Paul became a Martial Artist, which worked alongside the Christian moral compass to keep him on a straight path. From the age of sixteen, he became genuinely immersed in Black culture through his choice of relationships and their families who truly became his teachers.
Following an engineering apprenticeship in Metallurgy he made a crossroads decision aged twenty-one not to go into professional at boxing but instead to return to education and eventually graduated B.Ed. (Hons.) in Art, Physical Education and Education and began teaching in Manchester’s Moss Side in 1986 until leaving for London in 1999 where he worked as an education consultant specializing in Cultural Engagement. During his time as a teacher, he also taught African-Centered Cultural Studies in Category A and B prisons, designed and delivered workshops in schools, colleges and universities, organized national lecture tours and designed and convened national educational conferences.
In 2013, Paul spent three and a half years in Brazil as a diplomatic spouse first in Brasilia and then in Sao Paulo researching, writing and raising his son. His time there greatly broadened his historical understanding of the significant role and relationship of Iberians and Arabs to Africans and how it is expressed within contemporary culture.
On his return to the U.K. in October 2016, Paul set up the ‘LINEAGE INNOVATIONS’ and ‘PAUL EME’ companies with the intention of developing Educational Awareness tools to increase self-knowledge and esteem. The first product is the Lineage Timeline, which shows a 9,000-year continuum of African Civilization and Culture, alongside the 3,000 years of the European. There are plans to translate the information into various languages and in a variety of sizes and formats to make it a standard presence in both homes and schools across the world.
The Timeline is designed to show the significance of generative power from the reality of the (African/Human) Mother Principle and promote the natural respect for that power through the promotion of celebrating an individual’s Birthday as being the true Mother’s Day.
Paul currently resides in Preston, Lancashire where under the direction of ‘PAUL EME LTD.’ he is researching, planning and taking further forays into the Higher Learning and evolving social and emotional development strategies including the application of the ancient Kemetic symbol of the Sphinx into Personal Healing and Development through Self-Control and evolving (Universal) Consciousness, a process he has named OBIONICS.
