The fucked up part is if we're using pages this is about eight pages of a 6,000 page book. Maybe even more than that. Our ancestors were slaughtered for no goddamn reason at all.

They were slaughtered for demanding to be respected. They were slaughtered for attempting to make it easier for the generations after them.

They were slaughtered for not going along with the status quo. They were slaughtered because they made white people uncomfortable. They were slaughtered because they gave black people hope.

I'll never forget watching the ghosts of Mississippi in 1996 and having a conversation with a woman in the theater who was much older. She said that had Medgar Evers not been killed he would have been the legend that Martin Luther King Jr was. He was just that powerful of a man.

And we're not just talking about Strange Fruit. We're talking about killings that were never solved. People who never came home. I mean left for work or school or to visit a relative and never came home. These people are buried in unmarked Graves or were left for the vultures.

I am watching America be torn apart by its hate of everyone and anything not white. I am watching with so much enjoyment. Imagine how far ahead America would be if they just accepted people who weren't White as just other human beings.

But no. They will shoot holes in the boat and have the entire boat sink rather than have black people be recognized as they're equal. The fall of America will make the fall of Rome look like a collapsed House of Cards. Trust me on that.
