Bill Maher is cool to me, the Wayne Brady thing did not start with Maher though, a whole lot of black folks use to call him a sellout and most of yall know that. After I found out a lot more about Brady, I realize he is a cool brotha who is funny.

Fuck Bill Mahr. He oftentimes uses stereotypes about Black men for comedic purposes. He references thug behavior as being black. The stereotypes black women as being loud. He is dated a few hoochie mamas so he feels entitled to comment on the black experience. Wayne Brady got that negative rep for being on that show singing and dancing which harken back to the minstrels even though there is nothing fundamentally wrong with singing and dancing for comedic purposes. Racism has pigeonholed black people into doing certain things. Many are negative if not most. Hyper masculinity is a result too as well as denouncing education. In order to be considered black, you must not only code switch with whites but you have to code switch with black. Its a warped view of being human.
