Watch a Sneak Peak of Martin Lawrence's New Sitcom, 'Partners'

Two Chicago lawyers are brought together by fate and desperation in Martin Lawrence's new show, Partners, premiering August 4 on FX. Lawrence plays Marcus Jackson, a community activitist who is going through a divorce. Jackson meets Allen Braddock, played by Kelsey Grammar, a high-rolling lawyer who has just been fired from his father's elite firm. The two decide to work together in an attempt to find order in both their personal and professional lives.


In the featured clip, you get a look at Jackson's family life, which involves his mother and her bridge buddies.
The "odd couple" show marks Lawrence's return to television and comes from the makers of Girlfriends, The Game and Living SIngle.

Naw it wasn't marketed well it was on shotime. I'm pretty sure the house of cards crowd would have watched the shit out of it if more people knew about it

starz is the a&e of pay cable. they only make two seasons then they cancel it. i can't think of a starz show that made it past the second season!

Spartacus has 4 seasons, granted 2 of them were terrible , and as far as this show that laugh track is terrible
