Wallace “Wally” Amos, the founder of Famous Amos cookies, passed away at 88.
His children, Shawn and Sarah Amos, confirmed that he died at his home in Honolulu on Tuesday, Aug. 13, due to complications from dementia, as reported by the New York Times.
