I have shitty as charter spectrum formerly known as time warner cable they are literally fucking the shit out of me with their prices my bill is 240 a month for phone internet and tv, I want to cut the cord on these fuck ass losers so bad but I live with my people who would be lost using a Roku box or fire stick.

But I'm staying away from downloading albums and movie torrents because these dick heads hijacked my browser five times already over the last 2 years telling me to agree not to download copyrighted material or they will terminate my service and have 5o cent Jay-Z and Kanye West sue me for downloading their albums.

They can suck dick but I just hate loading up chrome and having my shit locked with a bullshit threatening message from my ISP.

I'm asking should I get a VPN or is it just bullshit threats? just in case what are some free VPN's or good cheap ones where I can download as many movies and albums as I want without this bitch ass cable company threatening me!

How the fuck are you paying 240 a month? You got like 20 boxes or something? And they usually only send those warnings to people sharing copywritten material over P2P. Not for just downloading it. I've even got a few of those msgs over the years myself, and Ive worked for TWC now Spectrum for over 10 years. So I dont fuck with torrents anymore. Those msgs dont mean shit unless you get like 6 in a row. Then they can start fucking with your services. Getting in trouble in highly unlikely unless you're being str8 reckless with the downloading. No advise on VPNs. Never used a personal one.

I've fucked with torrents for 15 years and I've NEVER had a problem!

As for your ISP threatening you about DLs, that's fucked up!

That's probably why I haven't dropped AT&T yet... they've never sweated me about that kinda shit!

A coworker was telling me how they blocked his router because his son downloaded a movie. :smh:

I feel kinda fortunate right now!
 
I've got numerous alerts from Comcast, Cox, Road Runner, ATT and some I can't name.

Most I've had to do was call and confirm I understand I violated some bullshit privacy policy.

Last time I got flagged for download the entire Lil Wayne SQ mixtape series. They flagged me for every single song that was downloaded (not shared).

I purchased NordVPN that day.

$79 bucks for two years seemed like a good deal and now I just keep my torrent software up.

Do yourself a favor and just get a VPN.

I've only had one letter that was from Comcast ...probably 20 years ago maybe longer. hell i think they were called cablevision back then

never had one from AT&T when i had them

not worried about a vpn right now LOL
