You know ladies, it really irks me with women especially sistas who talk shit like this. Here is the reason. You maybe a young man, go to school, wear clothing that is considered "standard fashion" that you get from Sears or Kohl's, don't drink, don't smoke, don't cuss often and just stay out of trouble. In other words you are square. Additionally, in other words, you are just a person who just want to get a good education, a decent job with a consistent steady paycheck and just do you thing.
However the attitude that I mentioned in the previous paragraph that some black men have can never and I mean NEVER get a fine sista. Many sistas consider that type of man as "boring", or "square". Heck, some sistas go as far as calling that type of black man a "white boy". All of that just because the man is square, and not thuggish.
Okay that man gets turned down by the sistas on every occasion. Now the other brotha, who has has pants down his ass, has dreadlocks, cusses all day, don't go to school, got a bad attitude, can't speak good english and just rough gets the attention of the sista. Eventually in a short period of time the sista turns down the "square" brotha for the thuggish type black man.
Now foward about 3-5 years. That thuggish man the sista wants is just that still thuggish. They may have a child or two. The thug brotha can't get job, still hanging on the street acting like a fool, has no education because he never went to school, has a dead end job for low pay and gets in silly trouble all the time. At worse after he has a child, he goes "deadbeat dad" and escapes 5 states away leaving the sista to take care of the kids herself.
Now the sista who sweated over this thug brotha has no financial support and left with a child for herself to take care of. In addition due to the stress in life she loses her beauty.
Now the "square" brotha who is doing fine, has a nice job and a steady paycheck and good reputation just happens to go to the shopping mall. Well in shock he sees that one sista he wanted so much 5 years ago now with a child. She runs into him and greets him. After the greetings, she is all the sudden attracted to the "square" brotha because he has his life together. Now all the sudden that sista wants his phone number, where he lives or just flat out admits she wants to date him.
Of course the "square" brotha who was hurt 5 years ago after being embarrassingly turned down says "no".
Now my question?
1. Do you have sympathy for women who talk shit like Vivica Fox all the sudden "does not want to date thugs and rappers" any more?
2. Do you have sympathy for the "square brotha"?
Any comments....
What I'm trying to get here is that a lot of sistas make that mistake every time.
