A Vietnamese man who frequently beat his estranged wife was killed by the woman during their latest scuffle last week.

Le Kim Khai, 53, died of suffocation while on the way to the hospital after a fight broke out and 55-year-old Phan Thi Kim Chuong crushed his testicles for “about five minutes.”

The official autopsy showed that he died of tracheal effusion, with food stuck in his windpipe, leading to the fatal suffocation, according to Tuoi Tre News.

Khai went to his wife’s home in the province of Tien Giang on Sunday and realized that there were locks on doors barring him from entering.

He then took a hand-saw to the lock, broke-in and immediately started throwing punches at Chuong while one of their two daughters watched.

When the daughter tried to break up the argument and Khai began beating her, Chuong grabbed his testicles and called the police.

She did not let go of his private parts until neighbors showed up and pleaded her to stop, by which time the husband had already lost consciousness.

Chuong told police that she only meant to “warn him” by grabbing his testicles.
