WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon on Tuesday released the first video images of American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the military headquarters building and killing 189 people in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The images, recorded by Pentagon security cameras outside the building, were made public in response to a December 2004 Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, a public interest group. Some still images from the video had previously been leaked and publicly circulated, but this was the first official release.
The airplane is a thin white blur on the video as it slams into the Pentagon at ground level. Almost instantly a white flash and a huge orange fireball appear on the video, followed by a tower of gray-black smoke. One of the videos shows a Pentagon police car driving in the direction of the impact point shortly after the plane hit.
Traveling at an estimated 350 mph, the hijacked American Airlines plane plowed into the southwest side of the Pentagon at 9:38 a.m. EDT, shortly after two other hijacked airlines were flown into the twin towers at the World Trade Center in New York. The attack set off fires in a portion of the Pentagon and killed 125 people inside, in addition to the 59 passengers and crew and the five men who hijacked the plane at Dulles International Airport.
The Pentagon had previously refused to release the videos, saying they had been provided to the Justice Department as evidence in any criminal proceedings.
"We fought hard to obtain this video because we felt that it was very important to complete the public record with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.
Cheryl Irwin, a Pentagon spokeswoman, said families of the victims of the Pentagon attack were not consulted before the videos were released on the Pentagon's Web site.

A 200,000+ pound Boeing 757 aircraft doesn't disappear into a side wall of the pentagon with one brief impact blast, leaving a relatively small hole in the building. Do your own research peeps, all the films & documents that you need to understand this are accessible within a few keystrokes & mouse clicks. Stop waiting for the info to show up on ’60 minutes’ or ‘20/20’, that’s not going to happen. Don’t allow yourself to bamboozled.

I don’t have a definitive, unimpeachable answer about 9/11.
I do know that overwhelming circumstantial evidence thoroughly debunks the “official tale”. Start with the most unbelievable part of the “official tale” which is World Trade Center building #7, which wasn’t hit by a plane, suddenly imploding and collapsing in the exact manner of a controlled demolition. There is no scientist or engineer who can explain how a modern steel structure suddenly collapses in the same manner as you or I stepping on a empty beer can. Next are the alleged cell phone calls from the doomed jetliner, given the wireless technology available on September 11 2001, those cell calls were impossible from high altitude; In fact such a technology doesn’t exist now (2006). Do your own reseach. The last film I saw about this “LOOSE CHANGE SECOND EDITION” was excellent. Check it out,

Muck, I can't agree with you more. I leave my cell phone on when I get on the plane. SPRINT/NEXTEL, whatever you call them, do not get a signal at 30K or 40K feet. Matter of fact, I don't get a signal till about the time I land.
They have a lot of explaining to do.
On a different note, still in relation to the Pentagon incident. Has anyone read the book, The Day After Roswell, by Col. Philip J. Corso? Or even before that, has anyone heard of him? I'm trying to find out the location of his office in the pentagon, when he was employed. I know it was on the second floor, on the outer ring. Looking for some answers, first.
