Pedestrians in Russia might have thought it was safe to cross the street, cars yielding to them on either side of the crosswalk. But they were soon caught in the middle and left trying to run for their lives when a truck didn’t notice the minivan in front of him had stopped for the walkers.
All caught on a dashboard camera, a group of five young men and a woman scrambled as the truck hit the minivan and swerved directly toward them. On their other side, a station wagon wanting to get out of the way of the oncoming truck as well, ended up pinning most of the pedestrians right in its path.

In the report, a police officer talked to the truck driver, but it is not known what repercussions he might face, if any.
