But no one else is reporting it. Funny...

(From WVEC TV13 News)

Surry County Sheriff Harold Brown tells 13News that NFL star Michael Vick is not likely to face charges stemming from a suspected dog-fighting ring uncovered in his back yard.

Brown says it appears Vick had no involvement in the alleged operation.

Last Wednesday, detectives say they found 54 malnourished pit bulls and dog fighting materials in the backyard of Vick's Moonlight Drive home.

The Commonwealth's Attorney and Surry County sheriff's officers are meeting Monday to discuss whether to file criminal charges.

Investigators made the discovery while carrying out a search warrant for drugs for Vick's relative, Davon Boddie, who is living at the home.

Boddie was arrested in Hampton for possessing marijuana and listed the Surry home as his address, leading police to search the property.

Vick, a Newport News native, is a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.

Oh, and to further elaborate...

Vick received recognition of being responsible for $170,000 going to VA Tech.

The white man can't stand a black man with money

Michael Jackson, Snoop Dog, O.J Simpson are just a few names that whitey will not and probably never leave alone. Please add onto this list if you don't mind.

It's been over 12 hours since the Surry County Sheriffs has exonerated Mike Vick. And ESPN, CNNSI, even the Atlanta Journal- Constitution has yet to report it. But when the sheriffs were raiding the house that Vick owned, it was shown live across the country. See? Media bias is a trip!

Also, Trapstar-

It's hard to find the article that showed how much money they really presented to VA Tech (Vick raised the money on behalf of the United Way.) But here's the story, because it is hidden:

New York — Falcons quarterback Michael Vick said Friday he has
worked with the United Way and raised $170,000 to support families
affected by the shootings this month at Virginia Tech, Vick's alma
mater.

"I'm going to challenge some other NFL players to make a
contribution," Vick said on the eve of the league's draft.

Vick left Virginia Tech in 2001 after three years. He said he took
classes at Norris Hall and sometimes visited West Ambler Johnston
dormitory, the buildings where student Seung-Hui Cho shot 33 people
to death April 16.

"Even though we weren't there at the time, you still feel like you're a
part of it," Vick said when asked how the shootings affected him and
his younger brother, Marcus. "That's where I shaped the majority of my
life at. That's where I learned how to become a man. I had a lot of
positive influences around me at that university. I feel for the
university
and what we have to go through."

A ceremony in memory of the victims and in support of the school will
precede today's draft. Vick, Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer
and former Hokies standouts DeAngelo Hall and Bruce Smith are
scheduled to take part.

...And before anyone says that "The United Way gave all that money away... not Vick!"; that's not true.

Vick RAISED the money... using his image and his pull to get other people to donate these funds. They put it on behalf of the United Way because the United Way is a nationally-recognized 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation that will one can donate large sums of money without having to face the scrutiny of the IRS when tax-time comes around. (Write-off privileges.)
