I assumed it meant black conservatives. Is negro or con objectionable? Or does the combination sound to much like negro coon?

Alan Keyes hasn't really talked about much. All he talks about (from what I've heard) is how much of a real conservative he is and how the repubs aren't doing what they're supposed to do.
He's on close watch, but I cant say that I'm a supporter yet.

Alan Keyes has been and is the most consistent conservative in the Republican party. His positions haven't changed in at least the last 11 years. Personally I can't stand him and when he left Maryland to get crushed by Obama for Senate I was happy to see him go. That being said Keyes is the only TRUE Republian/Con running. Unlike Bush, Cheney, Huckabee, Romney, and Rudy...Keyes is no hypocrite. He is a true believer. Main Example: Dick Cheney's daughter is gay...has a wife/partner/whatever and they just had a son together. That alone would normally get your con card yanked. Since its Cheney there are rules and beliefs for the Cheneys and then there are rules for everyone else. Alan Keyes had a daughter that came out of the closet...Keyes fired her from his foundation, cut her off financially and kicked her out of the house. To me that sums up why he is a hard core conservative. That is also why there are no Negrocons rushing to support him. To many of them have that Reagan fantasy in their heads...need to wake up and face that Keyes reality

I am a libertarian, and have said so in numerous posts, and I suggest you go read them. And that "negrocon" bullshit would be akin to calling democrats socialists. I am conservative, but not in the way you and your ilk like to represent it. I am conservative in the use of government power to "guide" society. I, unlike you, trust people to make thier own decisions, even if they are difficult ones, as I think that any form of doing otherwise is simply tyranny. While expouse the calls of the "social good", you are merely a wannabe ruler who would cause others suffering in quest for some fictional utopia. Stop being mad just because some of don't think like you, and can see you thought patterns as what they really are -
