Send flowers to Mom's and to your squeeze... As far as your squeeze, only do it if it's your first V-day together. I personally love flowers and enjoy receiving them everyday of the year except V-day b/c I hate to see the way they jack up the cost in February. If its the 2nd V day together go with a pair of smoking ass shoes etc. Something that lasts, is a good value, and every time she looks at them she will think of you and be like damn my baby got me these. Let me give him some b/c he knows how to make me feel special/sexy etc ; ) Give the gift that keeps on giving....
P.S. Don't forget the other sexy stuff, rose petals on the bed, wine/some bubbly etc you can't just hand her a box of shoes. Set the mode... but do it on a budget.
