What were you clocked with? Radar can be beat easily. Just make sure you ask for EVERYTHING, Officer, Equipment calibration records, records of officer training on the equipment, then its just a matter of asking the right questions, like how far away was I when you saw me. Now do the math, at xxx amount of speed you should have been moving this many miles per hour....So if he tells a lie or didn't quite know how far away you were then the math will make him look stupid and the ticket will be dropped.
Laser isn't so easy
Don't know where you're from..but this shit doesn't work..and the guy who said that they will drop the charges if you get a lawyer is wrong too. If it happened to you before, please believe you were lucky..it is NOT the norm. Shit is a game and about money..plain and simple.
I have been stopped more times that I wish to count..and always go to court with a lawyer (Have legal coverage through my job). I have never had charges dismissed...always reduced.
The worst was 120 in a 55 on my bike... (I was prolly doing 75-80). The lying ass cop says he paced me

..at night at 120

. I just knew this one was gonna get dismissed

.
Judge offered me $100 fine, no points

. I wanted the lawyer to try the case..he pulled me aside and said "I will do whatever you want..but I advise you to take the deal"....
told me that he didn't care if I had a video tape, 5 witnesses, and two actuaries. I was most likely gonna lose..cuz the cop is considered an expert, and they will lie or say anything to win.
Would've been like $500 plus suspension for six months, and surcharges..

..All for some BS I didn't even do..
So I took the deal...and always do.
I have seen many, many people with less shit than I was accused of... get far worse punishment..all because they didn't have a lawyer.
Sooo..get a lawyer, and take the deal.
