That's probably what--MLB--will do. Either after the All-Star game or near the end of Spring Training. Changes WILL be made,before the next years' WBC.

Players are genuinely torn between their contractual obligations, meeting new teammates on new teams, and representing their Country. It's very difficult doing both, that's why 'changes' are needed. Hard to serve two Masters!

Plus, independent-minded field managers. Free from trying to curry favor in 'hopes' of getting MLB manager jobs. Some old habits are hard to break, even for a previously successful manager. Hint: Davey Johnson.
