Who are Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies?
I just got home from a pretty rough day at work only to see this commercial aired on CNN. I found it very disturbing. Obviously, the Citizens United decision has much to do with how organizations such as this are funded and operate.
It is up to each and every one of us to figure out who is funding this organization (Koch brothers, etc.) I want to know more, and will attempt to research this a little further. However, I could really use some help.
Either way, I just wanted to share the commercial and a link to their website. I figure any research and results would be more than welcome.

Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies, also known as Crossroads GPS, is a conservative political group created by Republican political operatives Karl Rove and Edward W. Gillespie. It is under the "umbrella group" of American Crossroads. American Crossroads includes the Crossroads PAC and a newer, stealthier group called American Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies, or GPS. Rove helps the Crossroads groups raise millions of dollars from corporations and individuals to influence elections. Crossroads GPS runs political attack ads against Democratic candidates, without explicitly asking viewers to vote for or against any candidate, so that the ads are not reportable to the Federal Elections Commission. Total Electioneering Communications: $1,104,782
The Center for Responsive Politics can not code electioneering communications as "support" or "against" a political party or candidate because the Federal Election Commission requires only that groups disclose which federal candidate(s) were mentioned in the communications - not whether the communications supported or opposed the candidate(s). By definition, electioneering communications do not explicitly advocate for or against the election of a candidate, but simply refer to a clearly identified federal candidate in a broadcast ad
