All 3 songs are bad for different reasons but all due to content.
You could find wrong in the I have a dream speech. That's good in a fucked up ass backward ass way. Perhaps your a perfectionist like me or your a paranoid schizo...who knows...

And yes i do find fault in the i have a dream speech. Dreams are fine and dandy but i've always believed that real change doesn't occur without abject resolve to do whatever it takes to MAKE reality happen. We are people who can bend the world to our will. But he's sitting up there talking about dreams. The Jamie Foxx and Neyo song i despise because it's a male fantasy of what they wish a woman would be in this day and age. It's an example of the times. And being that i think the times SUCK. If i have my own? I dont' need or want YOU at all. If you want to live like that? Well that's understandable. I don't see how that kind of feeling or disconnect amongst our people will lead to anything other than furthering our destruction. The other hand? We're already all doomed anyway.
You don't love me because i have my own. You love me because you're not responsible for anything. And in the end that's exactly all you want in today's age black male is to be as irresponsible as you possibly can be. No responsibility for self, your community or people.
The 2nd video just promotes greed from women and the very notion that as a 5 star woman *bitch* as the song originally states. I'd somehow want your thuggish ignorant wanna be hood gangster self. If i did indeed have all of those "5 star" qualities then i could definitely do alot better than someone like you.

But I think in the Neyo song is more from a man that feels refreshed because the chick isnt so needy. I believe men get tired of a woman yelling how independent she is, but has her hand out. Or so independent that she has turned manly....Screw that yes I am independent, but I want a man that completes me so he and I can be an independent team together. I have no problem taking my man to the movies or if we are out to eat being like "I got that" And because of my beliefs I would have no problem submitting as his woman. But that is me. I also just posted on this topic last Wednesday on my FB page:

I don't this song like that at all. This stuff is much much deeper, has a much deeper meaning and consequence. That's what i see it as. This song is a representation of the fluffy butt black male society we're forced to endure today. Do of course to the loss of ACTUAL fathers. If we're together, i don't have anything. And neither do you. WE have stuff together. It's ours. If we go to a movie, he's paying because we're together, he has the money. If we're on a date? He's paying because he's the 1 woo'ing me. He's courting me. In this mammalian way of being, the males court the females for mating. It's just all out of wack. I knowwww i know i don't have to worry about it any longer. But we are talking about the song here. And the types of women this phrase is supposed to represent.
I'm not built to be independent. None of us are. This is just a bad bad statement to begin with. Human beings aren't even meant to be independent. WE're a social creature. We're not not meant to be alone. And if you are alone you know deep down in your being that it's not a natural thing. Especially for women. So nah, i'll always hate this song lol
This song is just more example of black men failing and wanting to not be held accountable for their failing. For not realizing their failure. Not accepting truth for it. Like heyyyy i can run around and do whatever because i'm not really accountable for jack shit!

Weak males in todays society want this kind of thing because they can't handle any form of responsibility. Preference is the catch word for today's weak willed selfish, unthoughtful youth.
You don't put any thought into what or why, so you just say, it's preference.
