Twitch streamer has to pay Big% of his salary to his managers

Why does he need a manager to stream? Oh he means editors, which makes sense. I seen a video on editing YouTube...that shit is no joke so I get it

Think of it like being a pro sports player having an agent. Yea, you could do it all yourself, but typically when you see those crazy deals with guaranteed money, it's the agent that negotiated it. For streamers, you have to consider not only streaming, but building an audience, editing videos for reels/shorts, making posts on social media to keep people finding you, etc.

There are a ton of people that stream every single day and never get more than 5 viewers. If you can get with a team that helps you with all of that for a cut, like the AMP dudes that Kai Cenat signed with before he blew up, it makes sense for them because they don't have to do 100% of the leg work. Building an audience that will tap in to watch you every time you get on is not easy.

YeahI I corrected my post. He Manage as in editing his streaming platforms. I seen a video of a streamer editing their videos that shit takes a lot of work and time...so I understand

I think this sounds worse than it actually is. With the exception of personal expenses, everything he listed is a tax write off. I've heard other successful YouTubers say the income from YouTube is a very small amount of their total revenue stream. TikTok is probably the same. The real money comes from sponsorships, personal appearances, and merchandise sales.

TBH, I don't think the YouTube and TikTok payments are as bad as they sound. His social media producers have to constantly keep those channels updated with fresh content. The actual payouts for those videos can vary wildly do to all the different criteria involved in how each individual video is monetized on the platform. On the other hand, he's walking away with 30% without needing to do any extra work on those channels.

This is my favorite tech channel, and he breaks down how is company makes money

One of Bgo'ls favorite black tech guys

He's not going to last long and paying that much shouldn't last long either cause in business things change and 10k for expenses is bullshit depending on where he lives but he can do all of that from a broom closet in Idaho.Fire employees unless they really do something besides hanging out with you and benefitting off of you.

Save save save cause Internet careers don't last forever.

Just revealed, his social media managers:
