TV News: SNL Loses/Fires FOUR Cast Members (Do you think they will keep the sister?) 2021 UPDATE

NBC has chosen not to renew the contracts of newcomers Noël Wells and John Milhiser. The news comes after Brooks Wheelan, also a first-year cast member, announced on Twitter on Monday that he was fired from the show.

Five-season cast member Nasim Pedrag is leaving, as she will co-star in Fox comedy “Mulaney.” “SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels also exec produces the show.

A NBC rep said that the network does not comment on “SNL” casting changes.

Noël Wells and John Milhiser will not be returning to Saturday Night Live next season, according to Deadline. They join the also-cut Brooks Wheelan, who announced his exit yesterday. Milhiser and Wheelan were both largely absent from the second half of this past season, and Wells wasn't that much more of a presence. Fellow rookies Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Sasheer Zamata are shoo-ins for next year, but still to be determined is the exact fate of Mike O'Brien. Also TBD is the exact fate​

I believe the show is limited to 3 funny skits per season...

I can listen to 'new rules' once....and get more laughs than they put out the whole season.

The show is so un-funny,makes me feel embarrassed for the actors...as was said,get new writers.
