Paramount+ is walking back a spinoff’s season 2 renewal.

“Dexter: Original Sin” has been canceled, Varietyreported on Friday, August 22. The crime drama was renewed for season 2 in April, but Variety reports that no production dates were ever scheduled for the new installment. NJ.com has reached out to Paramount+ for comment.

It’s possible that the cancelation is Paramount+’s attempts to focus on another “Dexter” series. Variety reported that there are already plans to open a writer’s room for season 2 of “Dexter: Resurrection,” which premiered in July.…

Ummm. I thought it got new life in Season 7 when the blonde serial killer chic was introduced ,cause Women serial killers are rare. But hey opinions are like ass holes.

It aint but its excellent and far exceeded all expectations.

And a worthy continuation of the series. We can just pretend that sh*t didn't happen. It gave back that old feeling of prime Dexter.

I think after the horrible ending they took awhile to figure out the character and universe and overall have done a great job.
