Season 3
7 Episodes
7/10
I watched the newly released season today at home recorded on my DVR.
The season starts out with a new Spanish themed opening sequence.
It starts out immediately after the events of season 2 finale with Daryl/Carol getting thru the Chunnel into England. It starts off with classic suspense action with them going against Walkers and there is more about their relationship shown in the first episode.
A new character is introduced in England named Julian and he gives an update on what happened to England when the Walker apocalypse started to current time. Daryl/Carol convince him to use his boat to get back to America and that turns into a disaster, with them having no experience on a boat. It brings them to Spain where the season plays out.
Carol goes full militant when she observes how Spain is conducting their politics/community based on old and obsolete traditions that don’t favor women. Daryl is focused on getting back to America while Carol is getting herself involved in the locals politics that she is stubbornly against.
Carol starts getting close to one of the men in the village they are staying at, which is influencing her decision to help, which affects her relationship with Daryl. The question of their personal relationship is brought up in a humorous way, no definite answer still not given. There are flashback scenes of Daryl as a child, it looks like there will be more in the future explaining who he is. There might be some flashback scenes for Carol before the apocalypse, coming up soon.
Episode 5 has the Old Time Daryl come back as a one man fighting machine.
For the Gay Agenda trackers, there is a LW/LW relationship between two attractive women, all that is shown is PDA.
Season 4 has been approved and is in production in Spain now. It will be the final season debuting late 2026.
Looking forward to it.
