i think a lot of shit trump does...all of the politicians do...republican and democrat....it's just Trump is too dumb and won't shut the fuck up about doin' it....

so if he goes to jail...every time the republicans are in power...they'll arrest and prosecute a bunch of democrats...and vice versa...and that's what they are all scared of...

So you don't think trump was any different than however many other presidents before him, that didn't plead for absolute immunity? I get it that they all probably ask for favors from foreign governments, kept some secret documents on the low, and obviously most of them were racist. But, I don't think any other president has conspired to stay in office after being voted out. That's next level.

I was referring to absolute immunity, they seem to be saying he should be immune from prosecution for some things. Still bullshit, no president has ever been prosecuted for things they've done while in office. Trump just wants to be able to have police tear gas peaceful protesters for a photo op and not get in trouble, oh wait, he already did that. Nearly all presidents have done something in office that they should have been arrested for, none of them has needed immunity to get away with it.
 
All Biden have to do is do everything Trump failed but no fail. at and stay in office. He has time and will be immune. Get them fake electors in place. Pay off a bunch of crooked lawyers now. Furthermore appoint more democrats after him and and never get prosecuted. Furthermore change the Constitution to be more prgressive than slave owners. I can go on. But the Dems have no balls. They fight fair.

If it doesn't happen it could open up a HORRIBLE war between the two parties for incoming and outgoing presidents, what we're seeing here with trump is new territory if the supreme court don't step in this will only get worse.
