Donald Trump has changed the party affiliation on his New York State voter registration to "unaffiliated," leaving the door open for a 2012 White House run by the real estate mogul.

"Mr. Trump has done that in order to preserve his right to run as an independent after the finale of his television show 'The Apprentice' at the end of May," said Michael Cohen, Trump's special counsel.

Cohen noted Trump has repeatedly said he may run for president as an independent if "he's not satisfied with who the Republican candidate is and does not believe that that candidate can defeat Obama in 2012."

Earlier this month, Trump pulled out as moderator of a Republican presidential debate in Iowa after complaints that his own potential White House bid made him an inappropriate choice to lead the debate.

This is great news he will draw voters from the republican candidate.

If he runs, he'll steal votes from the Republican candidate and virtual assure Obama's victory.

Its sad that they're people out there who will fall for this shit again.

Notice how he always has to wait until "after the season" of his bullshit reality show to make a decision:rolleyes:

The truth is Trump has no intention of running for President because if he did he would have to fully disclose his worth and he refuses to do that because its actually WAAAAAAAAAAAAY less than he lets on (he's been blown out about this for years) which would complete destroy his image and facade.

This is just another ratings and publicity ploy to keep him in the news for the next 6-7 months.

if he does run as an independent, it'll split the repub vote and the dem will win. he's just bluffing so that the repub will bring on a stronger candidate.

He's not running so he won't draw any voters from anywhere.

If he runs, he'll steal votes from the Republican candidate and virtual assure Obama's victory.

Not going to happen.

Its sad that they're people out there who will fall for this shit again.

Notice how he always has to wait until "after the season" of his bullshit reality show to make a decision:rolleyes:

Not quite. It doesn't matter who the GOP runs, he's not.
