Case in Point, Joe Lieberman lost the support of the democrat party establishment and they abandoned him. Threatened to take his assignments away if he ran against the party. He said FUCK EM like I did years ago. He then ran as an Independent and he won anyway. Proving yet again that party shit is pointless when you get down to it.

Even with all the damn evidence that the war was fucked up, he still supported this damn war and is a constnat Bush dickrider. Fool was a sore loser in the primaries in CT, got beat, but instead of bowing out, he did this independant shit, and courted all the republicans in CT, because their canidate was weak as fuck, fuck that fool, he's doing whats best for his country, Isreal
I dont know if Colin could make a go at it even if he wanted to, being with the Bush administration killed some of his credibility. They ran his good name though the mud and that will be used against him. Barack has this clean slate of sorts, and thats what appeals to people, he's not in with the bullshit most of these other canidates are. Hillary cant win, she'll just enrage all those re-pubes in droves. It all remains to be seen how he preforms in the primaries and if he can get past Hillary
Two points here is all this is worth. Hillary Clinton said when asked BEFORE the bombs dropped, right after she voted FOR the war resolution to go INTO Iraq that she did her OWN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION. She said she did NOT want the hysteria and the possibility that someone had misled the EVIDENCE to cloud her judgment. And after her careful assessment of the evidence she herself gathered, she decided to cast her vote to give the president authority to drop the bombs on Iraq. People are dead now as a result of her careful investigation and yes, Bush is commander and chief who pulled the trigger but if he did not get the votes in the senate and house YOUR ELECTED representatives gave him, hopefully after the same careful consideration of the evidence, things might be different today but yet you still support Hillary to run the nation. Second point, my example using Lieberman was just that, an example. Not an endorsement of support for his votes on the war resolution so you can drop the bumper sticker bullshit. But since you think you know how the vote went down, consider this. Lieberman is a hawk and did not lose the vote of the people. The people RE-ELECTED HIM. He lost the vote of the democrat party because the party took a vote and determined they would all claim ignorance about the war resolution MOST VOTED FOR and run away from it. Lieberman didn't follow along and was ousted by the democrat party not the people. Those are the facts. Feel free to correct me on any of this.
You have the historical record of how the democrat party at one time promoted segregation, slavery, lynching rape and murder of black people OPENLY. Today, that racism still exists with white democrats but it's hidden behind jokes, a smile and a white boy on a comedy show playing a saxophone.
You also have racists currently in the democrat party running West Virginia. You also have Jim Crow, a racist democrat and Bull Conner, another racist democrat within your ranks but somehow you are willing to set all that aside to count yourself a member too. But somehow you don't see how stupid it is to kick Lieberman down for supporting Israel but you still support a party with a mad racist history.
