Trayvon Martin; The Other Side

The New Orleans Police Officer:

On Monday, New Orleans police officer Jason Giroir was suspended, and has now resigned, for posting offensive comments online about the slain Florida teen.

In an article on CNN affiliated website WWLTV.com, Giroir posted a comment saying Trayvon “acted like a thug and died like one.” When a reader named Eddie criticized Giroir and labeled him a racist, the officer replied by saying, "Eddie come on down with a "Hoodie" and you can join Martin in HELL and talk about your racist stories."

The officer, who was suspended indefinitely without pay, was already under investigation for the fatal shooting on March 1 of Justin Sipp, a 20-year-old Black man.

University of Texas student newspaper

The University of Texas at Austin's student newspaper, The Daily Texan, apologized Thursday for a controversial cartoon published earlier this week. Staff writer Stephanie Eisner drew the cartoon featuring a woman reading from a book entitled “Treyvon [sic] Martin and the Case of Yellow Journalism." A bubble next to the woman’s head exclaims, “And then, the BIG BAD WHITE man killed the handsome, sweet, innocent colored boy!!"

After readers reacted negatively to the cartoon, the newspaper took down the post and announced the illustrator no longer works for the newspaper.

Michigan authorities on Monday launched an investigation after a racial slur targeting Trayvon Martin was discovered on an electronic construction sign along a Detroit-area interstate

Michigan State Police told NBC News affiliate WDIV-TV that someone hacked the road sign along I-94 around 1 a.m. Monday and posted "TRAYVON A N*****".

Martin was shot to death by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, at a gated community in Sanford, Fla. on Feb. 26. Zimmerman has claimed self-defense, telling police Martin attacked him. Martin was unarmed.

Motorists who saw the sign heading into Dearborn, Mich., pulled over and reported the sign to state troopers.

"I feel violated by it," Elaine Bonner told WDIV-TV.

Michigan Department of Transportation spokesperson Rob Morosi said someone broke into the sign’s operating system and put up the racial slur, changing the original message.
The message on the construction sign was taken down before Monday’s morning commute.

The sad thing about this case now that they have arrested Zimmerman is that they are going to find every way out of it, did you all know this is the same man that defended Casey Anthony and her child killer self, now wonder that dumb b**** is in hidding she's scared of what real women would do to her, she favoritized partiing over taking care of her child . What a sadistic piece of shit of a woman to do that to her own child, but hey under the law she was give a fair trial and found innocent..
